Incognito #1: Ground Floor / Steps from the Scotsman General - Downtown Laurel

This place is amazing. It’s the small details that made me really smile. It is definitely a 10/10. If you are looking for something quiet, and comfortable this is definitely the place to go.

This is a stylish, well-appointed suite, with the uniqueness of being in an old historic industrial building. But, if you're the type that has difficulty falling back to sleep after being awakened, I think two freight trains came in overnight last night. They're up front about it and many downtown locations have the same issue, but it's an issue nonetheless. Hangers in the closet would have been nice, and a small dresser would have been appreciated, as would a couple of boxes of tissues. Finally, and I'm sure there's a logical reason behind the requirement, but my idea of hospitality does NOT include expecting ones guest to take out their trash when they checkout. If the noise isn't an issue, it's beautiful, comfortable, and a great value!

The place was very creative and comfortable. It was fun living differently than normal. The only thing I would suggest, would be to place grab bars in the shower.

A beautiful industrial vibe without being cold. Central to most every thing. Easy check in instructions. Very comfortable!

Lovely place. Eric was a responsive host and his wife as sweet as Tupelo honey. The bed is very comfortable, Close for you to walk out and straight into the tourist zone.

Location was great. Place was immaculate & comfortable. Everything you need for a quick or longer trip. Walking distance to downtown or drive over to open parking lots and do your shopping. Highly recommend this place to stay.

This was a great little place! Super convenient to downtown Laurel, as well as the more bustling city center. The perfect amount of room for my husband and I. Lots of charm, I love that they left some of the mechanic shop architecture. It was well appointed with a specious kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and plenty of seating for us to spread out. Eric was very quick to respond to my questions. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Laurel and would highly recommend it to others.

Cannot think of one negative theing about this VRBO. Convenient, immaculate, comfortable, as advertised in all regards.

Location was perfectly out of the way, but close to everything. We intentionally picked this place as it had good proximity to where we were focused on. It is very unassuming from the exterior, but the interior was 5 star. Great hosts, awesome accommodations. Would highly recommend.

Wanted to stay somewhere close to downtown Laurel to visit Hometown buildings and Homes. Incognito #1 was great. It was clean and cozy. Just perfect.

We took the train to Laurel for a 3 day getaway on our 40th wedding anniversary. The Incognito did not disappoint. It was clean, modern, well appointed and accessible. We would stay again. Thanks, Eric and Amanda!

The property was very clean and unique. Could see the Scotsman shop from the property. The train reminded us of home but in a good way. The bed was super comfortable, also reminded us of home. Would highly recommend.

Clean and central to all tourist attractions. A little too many windows in this particular unit for us.

Great location and the best hosts! We enjoyed our time in Laurel at the Incognito. We had plenty of space to relax after a day of touring the downtown area. The property is located within walking distance of all the shopping and local restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

When we arrived, google kept taking us to an address a couple of blocks away, bt Eric included directions in his welcome email, and we followed thise right to it.When we arrived, there had been a slight mix up in the reservations, but Eric and Amanda were very gracious and quick to take care of the problem. You truly could not ask for better ir nicer hosts.The apartment is gorgeous and very comfortable. The bathroom is large and the kitchen has everything you need.Incognito would be our first pick if were staying anywhere in the area, and i would look for any other rentals owned by Eric and Amanda first!If we could give it ten stars we would.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in Laurel on our way to Houston. We had a great time. The property was very clean and comfortable. It was literally a block from the Scotsman General Store and 2 blocks from town. Everything was in walking distance. Perfect location for shopping, eating, and relaxing. Would definitely recommend. Hope to come back ourselves.

The property is well decorated and a great place to relax . There are large windows to watch the trains go by if you feel like it. We just love the coziness of the place.

The Incognito 1 was an unbelievable place to relax, unwind, and enjoy Laurel. It is literally two blocks to The Scotsman and an enjoyable walk to downtown. I highly recommend this beautiful Historic Roundhouse mechanic shop to be enjoying. The history is there, but the beautiful bedroom, kitchen/den, and wonderful history are a must to be experienced.

It's across the street from Scotsman. Super convenient. Cool place to stay. I would highly recommend it.

We went to Laurel to visit the town. We didn't think we would spend much time back at the VRBO, but we enjoyed the apartment like setting quite a bit so we stayed back at the room and watched movies and enjoyed the atmosphere. Thanks again!
