Stayed Jun 6, 2025What a delightful place. It was large, clean, near the main piazza of the citta' Alta and couldn't be nicer. I was really happy with everything there. It was a relaxing, pleasant stay in a gorgeous town.

Stayed Oct 15, 2024Just take in consideration the size and weight of the bags, the apartment is located on the 2nd floor (no lift - narrow stairs) we had medium carry on (13kg) and was ok.

Stayed Sep 18, 2019Bergamo Città Alta is lovely and the place to stay so long as you have no car, otherwise you have to park at the Città Bassa. The apartment is comfortable. Could be a bit cleaner. The kitchen is poorly equipped if you plan to eat in. Head height in one of the bathrooms is very restricted (over 164 cm and you have to duck. Two flights of steep wooden stairs to get to apartment. Apartment has aged ambience and decor that fits well with the area.

Stayed Jul 4, 2019Really nice apartment. Beautifully renovated. Great location. Nice breakfast. There was NO onsite parking - we especially picked a place with parking as this is a real problem in Citta Alta. Owner doesn't speak English which makes communication really difficult.

Stayed Oct 9, 2025The apartment is spacious and conveniently located for the Città Alta. I would not recommend it to anyone who has mobility issues as the steps up to the bedroom and bathroom areas seem unsafe to me. Not a good choice for someone who likes to cook large meals.

Stayed Apr 25, 2025We really enjoyed our 4 nights in Bergamo. The apartment is massive, in a great location & very well equipped with anything you could need. The only slight downside was the two flights of very steep, quite dark stairs to get to the apartment.

Stayed Jun 2, 2023This VRBO was everything we wanted and needed in Bergamo. Check in was seamless and the location was close to bus stops which made it wonderful. Additionally, you’re right in next to a beautiful walk through the high city without being in a very busy area if you want to go back and relax. We couldn’t recommend it more!
