HYDE BEACH HOUSE PRIVATE SUITES - B

My experience renting with the property management group for this unit was poor. After making my full payment as advertised I received and additional $300 bill from the property management group the day before my scheduled checkin. This has never happened to me before, I was confused and frustrated as they have a non refund policy. After contacting the management group I was told the additional fees were listed in the fine print of the property rules. This management group advertises the property at a much lower rate and after they receive your full non refundable payment sends you an additional bill. I feel it was done in poor taste and I’d rather rent from a more honest host who advertises the unit at full price. I expressed my disappointment and informed the property manager I would warn others with my review. The Hyde is wonderful the unit was Hyde standard(great). Personally I will not rent from this host which has two different companies listing properties on this site so carefully read before booking.

Check in was confusing, elevators were slow (1/2 hour wait) and unit had only surface cleaning. Resort staff were good for most part but a few were down right disrespectful. To top it off once we checked out we were hit with additional charges for alleged damages. I would not rent this place again and would not recommend it to anyone. Dishonest would be putting it mildly.

I love have a home away from home while traveling and this modern vibe Appartment was a perfect solution for my stay...

There was not a good vacation. Beach service is very poor. No towels, no chairs, no umbrellas. I said ok, give me towel ONLY, - and the worker answered - I can not give you a towel without a chair. You have to go to the hotel for your towel. I was completely unsatisfied. Elevators is another problem. You have to wait 5-10 minutes for it, and then spend the same time inside it. Pool cafe - located on 6 floor. Open at 11am. - I came 10.45 am. Ok, i waited for 15 minutes to have some breakfast. When it opened the barman said kitchen started at 12pm. I asked why you dont have a sign about the kitchen hours???? I spent my 15 minutes for what? Never come back agaon to HYDE.

Great property - new and located close to beach. Unit is spacious, well appointed and as advertised.

When we arrived the hotel had zero record of our room being reserved. The property manager was 4 hours late and we couldn’t check into our room. Extra fees that they tell you are covered in the initial cost but lied. Did not try to compensate for them being 4 hours late, was only worried about getting more money. The room was dirty, dried coffee spilled on the floor, dirty dishes, hairs all over the couch. Don’t waste your money!!!!

The Unit was modern, functional, well appointed and spotless. The bed and linens were comfortable. The balcony is large and the views are great. The Unit couldn’t have been better for the price. The property was a bit crowded but is was Memorial Day weekend so that was to be expected. The elevators did struggle to keep pace, especially at peak times. The valet was slow at peak times. A bit younger and more of a party crowd than I had expected, but everyone was pleasant and well mannered. Great stay - I’ll try it again on a non-holiday, an A+ Unit.
