Enjoy New Orleans during the Xmas/New Year's holidays and beginning of Carnival season AND the Super Bowl in a spacious newly renovated 2nd floor apartment in a historic house.

Our sunny, fully furnished 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment is available for a one to possible three month rental starting immediately. Located in the trendy, colorful Bywater neighborhood on a safe, quiet block.

The house has a swimming pool with a large patio/courtyard area and a Weber propane gas grill (all of which is shared with the downstairs apartment occupants).
There is plenty of free on-street parking as the house is a corner property.

The open kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washer and dryer in the unit. The apartment has central heat and air-conditioning. Free wi-fi and the utilities are included in the monthly rent. Great location---within walking distance to several eating and retail establishments.

NOTE TO ALL: THIS IS NOT A SHORT TERM RENTAL. The minimum rental duration is one month.

No pets. No smoking or vaping inside the apartment. One half month's security deposit (in addition to and separate from the monthly rent) is due at time of rental agreement signing. (This security deposit is refundable upon vacating the premises provided that no violations of the rental agreement have occurred.) Rental by owner.

An in-person tour of the apartment can be arranged prior to rental agreement signing/rental fee payment.

    First of all, Bill, the owner is super nice and easy to work with. The description of the house is accurate. It is a quaint century home that is well loved, but that adds to its charm. Most importantly, the beds are comfortable, the AC & fans keep the house comfortably cool, and it was very clean! The only thing missing in the description is that the two units are completely separate, and I thought they were connected from the inside, but that was no big deal. The neighborhood was a great location. It was a blue collar residential area that we felt very safe in and the neighbors did not bother us at all. It was just a 10 minute drive to the French Quarter and there is a fantastic BBQ joint a block away. Check in and Check out were easy and Bill met us to go over anything we might need to know. He was quick to reply to all calls and very accommodating to a small change in our travel plans. My deposit was returned in full. If I were to ever return to NOLA I would definitely stay here again! Don't let the house rules fool you. Bill is a great owner and it is a great place to stay!

    The house was a good fit for our family...lots of character! the neighborhood is what is truly outstanding - great bars with fantastic food, several options and walkable. Will return.

    It was a great place to stay with a somewhat larger group. Not far from a lot and easy walking/ubering options! Would definitely recommend!!

    Myself and 7 other friends stayed in Bill's home for several nights while we were staying in New Orleans for Voodoo fest. The historic home has been kept in tremendous condition, and is perfect for large groups on a low budget. Furthermore, Bill went above and beyond to make sure that we as guests had everything we needed, and was extremely communicative. I've never had a host as helpful and responsive as Bill. As long as you are willing to abide by the general rules for the home (which are all very reasonable), I can not recommend Bill's home enough. We will be back!
