The Space:

This 3 bedroom unit is part of a largerproperty with other short-term rental units hosting guests. Located in a neighborhood built around the turn of the 20th century, this home has been fully updated with modern appointments and design. If you have mobility issues, do note the floors change in elevation, which most people are perfectly okay with.



The bedrooms are all arranged around the kitchen thoughtfully. The master features a large, comfortable king size bed along with a private, master bathroom. An additional bedroom features a queen bed, and a third and final bedroom offers a smaller double. There is a full, private laundry available to guests in a separate mudroom. This property isn`t flashy or extravagant, but it is clean, updated, practical, functional and laid-out well…exceptional, perhaps, in its ability to get the job done (which means providing guests with a great place to stay at a reasonable price!).

Enjoy a formal dining room, a large, comfortable living room, and bedrooms each with nice, new mattresses for guests. Have a drink on the front porch with surprisingly great views of Pikes Peak, America`s mountain, as it looms above the city of Colorado Springs, perhaps inspiring a local adventure or just a really great day of rest and rejuvenation.



The Neighborhood:

Located just north of downtown Colorado Springs, this neighborhood was built around the turn of the 20th century and features mature, tree-lined streets serving handsome, transitioning homes. The home is also just a few blocks from Colorado College, a prestigious liberal arts school and many of the homes in the surrounding area cater to students. Just a short walk or bike ride away is some great dining, eating and shopping…especially toward the north end of downtown around the intersections of Tejon and Boulder Streets. Try the Odyssey Gastropub, Rasta Pasta or Rico`s for exceptional eats, or Supernova for an energetic drink or two. For a truly memorable cocktail, try Brooklyn`s on Boulder, serving creatively crafted drinks made exclusively from locally distilled gin. Regardless of your tastes, you`ll find something to enjoy in this neighborhood. And of course, the best and most well-known attractions like Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, the Broadmoor and Manitou Springs are all just about 10 away by car.



Getting Around:

Although there are restaurants, bars, cafes and parks accessible by foot or bike from this property, we still recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs. Also, we can provide you with specific bus routes to help you get around.

~There is a $500 fine for every unauthorized guest

~No Smoking - we charge a $1000 fine for smoking



We require a refundable hold of $1000 on your card for damages (released after checkout) OR you can opt out with a small fee of $50 by purchasing a damage waiver coverage to stay insured throughout your stay.





AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.

* We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like soap, toilet paper etc.

*Max 3 dogs ($75 per dog). We kindly ask that you clean up after dogs. Additional fees can incur if professional carpet cleaning is required or excessive dog hair is on the beds and/or furniture. Service animals exempt from fees. No other animals allowed unless they are certified service animals.

* No pets other than dogs allowed - we are sorry!;

* No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors;

* Please let us know if the trash is overflowing - we will fix that for you!;

* Property has security cameras

* There is Central AC throughout the home

* One bedroom Long-Term Tenant lives in the unit above.

* Just a quick note about the washer: to help avoid water splashing onto the floor, please don’t fill the tub more than 2/3 full. Overloading the washer can cause occasional leaks during the cycle.



Dog Policy:

-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!

* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.

    Location is very good. The VRBO was clean, but the house is old. It was a little musty when we first arrived. Had to air it out for a while. It did not have enough silverware or kitchen towels and dish cloths. When we called the host, they were easy to reach and got what we needed soon. The yard had many tall weeds and the hot tub had tree branches hanging over the cover. It is spacious and worked for us, but probably would not stay again.

    The home was clean and spacious. Although the beds could have been more comfortable, our overall experience was pleasant. We had some trouble with the front door lock, but it was eventually resolved.

    Location was great. Clean and quiet. Only real complaint or “discomfort” was the fact there was minimal AC air flow into the bedrooms. The master has a ceiling fan and the 2 extra rooms have a standing fan in each. We had to keep the bedroom doors open to allow some slight air flow in so minimal privacy. It was difficult to sleep comfortably. With it being an older home, this issue is understandable. Would stay here again in the cooler months.

    Just the right size for our family with three big kids. Plenty of space and a relaxing hot tub in the back yard. Easy check in and check out process, good communication with owners.

    Everything was clean and there was great communication. We wanted a place with a hot tub and they have extra towels to use for the hot tub which was nice. They even allowed us to have a late checkout since they didn't have a booking that night.
