Stayed Jul 26, 2019Gabriella was a wonderful host, and the apartment was bigger and even nicer than it looked in the pictures. We loved the region, and it was great not staying in a touristy spot, but with easy access to the gondolas at the ski resort to get to the top of the Dolomites. We had a lovely hike to the top of the mountain overlooking the old mill, just close to the house in the next village. The only sound at night was from the waterfall.

Stayed Jul 9, 2018The South Tirol area was completely unknown to us, and we were pleasantly suprised by the beauty of the region. As a family we have had many walking holidays all over Europe and this one did not disappoint, despite missing some views due to cloudy weather. The house was perfect for the five of us. It was clean and had all we needed. We loved the fact that the village church was always open, just like churches used to be in more innocent times. The shops are another matter. They have very limited opening times, and it always seemed we were on a different timetable. I recommend the Sentiero dei fiori walk from Passo Brocon and the walk up to Malga Tognola from San Martino di Castrozza, a beautiful place that really reminds me of Switzerland at its best. If you have children under 13, and you are there on a Tuesday in Summer, they have an activity in the old water mill in the neighbouring village of Cainari that is highly educational and enjoyable. There were so many things to do and too little time. We will have to go back some other time. Thank you Gabriella for an amazing few days. You were a great host. Love your house!

Stayed Jul 3, 2017We really loved our stay at Gabriella's apartment. She was very friendly and communicated with us in timely fashion. There was more than enough space in the apartment for the three of us. The beds are comfortable, the apartment clean and it has a washer in the bathroom which was much appreciated. Gabriella let us use her dryer also. She shared some fresh lettuce from her garden which we enjoyed. The kitchen is adequately equipped, though without micro wave or coffee machined, but we did not miss it. The village is very quiet and the view from in front of the apartment is amazing. We would highly recommend staying in this apartment.
