Stayed Dec 31, 1969Ursula and Stan's apartment more than lived up to Mary and I's expectations. It was clean well equipped and had the added bonus of wonderful outdoor pool which along with other benefits gave us a welcome escape from the amazing heat. 14 days of wall to wall sunshine and an extremely welcoming and informative family atmosphere. We went there as holidaymakers and left as friends.

Stayed Jul 2, 2018We had a lovely welcome from Ursula and Stan when we arrived with our small dog. We were shown our accommodation and the garden and pool, appreciating the captivating surroundings and mountain views. Our experience at Les Oliviers was one of pure delight. In our 2 week stay we quickly gravitated to getting back after lunch/shopping and staying put, enjoying the private gardens and pool which is shared only by the hosts and possibly a couple in the adjoining accommodation. Such was the appeal of the garden/ pool at sunset we wanted nothing more than to sit out and bbq in the lovely ambient evening. We will return at some point as there can be few places where a couple can have such a completely relaxing holiday- Highly Recommended. Mark and Jan

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife and I spent 4 days of our honeymoon here and loved it. The location was perfect; secluded but an easy drive to the vineyards and towns in the Rhone Valley. Ursula and her husband were great hosts. They answered our questions about restaurants, activities and groceries in the area. They were present if we had any questions but gave us our privacy as well. The grounds are beautiful. The smells of the lavender and rosemary flourishing throughout the property is reason enough to give 5 stars! My wife and I spent many hours relaxing by the pool, a necessary feature in the summer heat, or enjoying a glass of wine in the back yard. The studio itself was perfect for the two of us. We were even able to cook a full meal one night. I recommend anyone looking for a more provincial experience in southern France to stay here. And if you have the time, visit the waterfall nearby!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The vacation I took with my kids (8 and 6) in the Natural Park of the Baronnies Provençales close to Nyons deserved my taking the time to share my comments on this wonderful place. After driving upstream the Eygues river valley, a sharp left takes us up a secluded gorge where one is immediately away from it all. The House is around the bend, on a slightly dominant mound, welcoming you among olive and fig trees. The owners greet you in perfect English and show you around the property and your quarters. Everything is neat, very clean, including fully equipped private kitchen, and a great dose of serenity. Once we’ve unpacked, we decided the swimming pool was an immediate must. Swimming with this panorama around is really something else and I remember saying to myself “I could get used to this…” Our hosts provided a wealth of suggestions to keep the kids happy, with an amazing vulture sighting area, a very well equipped rope park, walks in the nature, the provençal market, and a promenade on Willys Jeeps around the local “outback”, horseback riding, and more than I could remember…. I will definitely return to Les Oliviers with the children, as I seldom enjoyed such relaxation and peace of mind. The kids are looking forward to this beautiful place too.
