Stayed Nov 4, 2025Gorgeous home and neighborhood, friendly host with incredible communication, 5 min away from downtown. WAY bigger than the pictures let on. It's kind of like a mother-in-law suite or a 1 bedroom apartment in a small building of apartments, so there are other people living there, but it's kind of fun to have people living there. It almost feels kind of like a private hostel, but one where you don't really have to interact with people if you don't want to. Quiet besides the occasional creaking of the floors (added to the charming, historical vibe) and the occasional, muffled bark or howl from two SUPER cute and friendly dogs outside (they looked straight out of a Disney movie where there's a couple of black, shaggy dogs who are loyal companions of the handsome, complicated, pirate main character--it was literally the cutest hearing them howl along when they heard a police car in the distance-- they were paid actors, I swear.) There's a ton of historical oddities and treasures throughout the main floors. The room is comfortable, cozy, and reminds you fondly of your great grandmas house.12/10 would recommend and will absolutely stay there again if I ever come out to Lincoln again in the future.
