Spacious, cozy, nicely decorated and a good location for getting around. For a longer stay like ours8 days, I missed conveniences of home but all in all a nice experience.

We stayed in this perfectly situated historic home and couldn't have been more pleased. It was very clean and well stocked for our needs. Additionally, it was convenient to all we wanted to see in Port Huron.

The house was beautiful, historic, and in a quiet area. We didn't have to use much temperature control, so that was a non-issue. Host was communicative and reachable, and the space was clean. It is a historic home, so very creaky floors and a clawfoot tub can be expected. I appreciated that the kitchen was left stocked with basic supplies (cleaners, pots, pans, spices, coffee, tea, some condiments) possibly from other guests. House felt easy to secure with lots of locks for safety. Close to everything downtown, and just made for a perfect birthday weekend getaway for us. Checkout was easy and all we had to do was take the sheets off, take the trash out, put towels in the tub, and leave the dishes clean. Would stay here again!

The space was cozy, while still allowing us to not be on top of each other. The main bedroom was spacious enough for 2 people to move around without being in each others way. While the 2nd bedroom had a bed that sat lower to the ground, the room itself was still comfortable. I would recommend getting a bed that's a little bit higher (standard height) because some people with mobility issues, may have a hard time getting up and down. I also recommend something sturdy for people to hold onto when getting in and out of the shower due to the design. Outside of the spiderweb that I found stretching from the sealing to the table lamp in the front room, everything was nice and clean. The apartment didn't have any strange odors, which you tend to get in order homes. That's a plus for me.

The unit is clean, comfortable and just what we needed for a visit home for the holidays. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. Although it was winter, there is a great outdoor space we will use on a return trip in the warmer months.

Cozy, beautiful, well lit, VERY clean. we did some sight seeing but stayed pretty close, not hard to do with this house being in such a great location for easy access to everything we wanted to see. This was our second time staying at Jen and Robert’s and we loved it just as much as the first!! Thanks for another great stay and we’d love to stay again!

Comfortable space within easy walking distance of downtown. Window a/c units kept the place nice & cool in 90 degree weather. Bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house -- perfect for our 8-year-old (bring your monitor if you have littles).Bathroom is little and beautiful clawfoot tub is tall, so reminder to help little kids or those with mobility challenges in and out of the tub.We would definitely stay here again.

Suited every need for our week stay. Very accommodating, clean. I would just say the old fashion claw tub was a bit of a challenge for us. Husband knee surgeries, myself leg issues. We were able and happily able to manage but some older folks like us could find it more difficult. We would stay again but might consider a step-stool? Bed was very comfortable. Had one meal and dining area very nice. Thank you

It was a nicely decorated older house in a neighborhood with other old homes converted to apartments. It had everything you need. The only thing I had a hard time with was the shower because it was an old cast iron tub that was converted into a tub/shower. The shower curtain full surrounds the tub and I would feel dizzy because I didn't have a point of reference to look at while showering and the curtain moving added to the dizziness. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

We entered not expecting to find an exquisitely appointed inside with tons of room. Bedrooms were far, far apart for good sleeping. Enjoyed stay immensely. It maybe could have had a recliner chair for us old guys. Thanks to our hosts for this wonderful stay.
