I liked that the place was really nice and that the host always got right back to you. I didn't like the parking situation.

HORRIBLE stay. Definitely not a historic gem more of a filthy old dump. Its right above a laundry mat so loud and get ready for motion sickness as the place feels like its shaking, assuming that was from the downstairs dryers. It smelled inside and there is no parking! Don't waste your money, find any place else

Great Property in a Great Location. We were a little skeptical as we pulled up to the door, but once inside the property was spacious with high ceilings and tons of light. 2 large bedrooms with king sized beds, and a third bedroom with a nice set of two bunk beds, plenty or room for everyone. Kitchen was nice with plenty of new appliances, and everything you'd need to cook a meal. Bathrooms were clean and large with all the amenities you need and plenty of towels. Location is excellent with a lot of choices to eat withing walking distance. As this is an older home outlets are not always conveniently located, my one suggestion is to get some lights or extension cords with usb plugs, to put on bedside night stands. Host was awesome and easy to communicate with and responded quickly with any questions. Overall great place, and experience.

The property is spacious and has lots of nice extras such as a pool table. It is very convenient to the restaurants and bars on South Side. Parking is kind of a hassle but we dealt with it. A few of the basic things in the house did not work properly such as upstairs fawcets.

Unique place! Comfy beds and pillows, loved the pool table and darts. As others have mentioned - was a bit warm with only window units and lots of street noise in one bedroom. Loved the close access to Station Square and tons of food options as well as easy commute to our destination (Children's Hospital). Entrance is in an alley way so I just would’ve felt better with ability to deadbolt the door but other than that, no issues with this neat place. Two full staircases within home weren’t an issue for us but may be for some. Little park/playground with water feature just steps from the front door would be nice for smaller children.

Our group had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is great and around so many options for dining, nightlife, and overall fun in the Southside Flats. Any hiccups were promptly taken care of. There was available parking in a pay lot just across the street, the one spot registered by the host, and even a couple of free spots outside towards the end of the block (they aren’t all free, so be careful)! The entertainment options were great; we played so many rounds of pool! The one gripe would be the summer heat, but if you use the window A/C units in place, and maybe bring a fan or two, you’re going to be just fine.If you have 6 people looking to have a fun weekend centered around Pittsburgh’s Southside Flats, this is definitely a property worth your while!

The location was great, super walkable area to various restaurants. The apartment is WAY bigger than the pictures show, and has so much old charm! We unfortunately did not get to spend much time in it, but it definitely would have been super comfortable for a longer stay. The negatives: We stayed in the middle of July... when it is very hot, the whole place only has 4 small window AC units, so it is roasty toasty. One of the bedrooms has NO windows, so that one in particular was very warm.Additionally, there are 2 very tall stairwells, the one that you go up immediately when you open the door had a lot of spiders on it, and clearly does not get cleaned super well. Other than that, the place was clean and comfortable! I would definitely stay here again, but preferably when the temperatures are a little cooler.

The property is clean and very nice. Unfortunately there is not a reserved parking spot for even 1 vehicle. Parked a few doors down “where there was no signage not allowing parking”. Didn’t block any doorways or access points. For safety and communication, I placed my cell number in the window just in case it had to be moved. Guy that called me was very rude and threatened to have the vehicle towed. The rest of the stay was nice…really need to have one reserved spot at the property though.

The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and baths. The third floor bath could use a better shower situation. The water goes on the floor and the tub is difficult to get in and out of. The outlets in both bathrooms were not working. We would suggest a deadbolt on the front door.

If you are a parent and have kids attending college in Pittsburgh, and they have houses/apartments on the southside, this is an awesome place to stay at during graduation, football games, family get-togethers, etc. I really liked the house, it it in the heart of the bar scene, lots of action and excitement. House was great. Needs more kitchen cookware. A few outlets in the house didn't work but for a remodeled house in the southside it was awesome!
