Place is great! Really liked having a washer and dryer. Property manager very responsive.
This is a very cool remodeled loft with a very kind and responsive host. The bedrooms are not true bedrooms, but rather cubicles built out within the space. There are no windows to the outside in either one. There is a church next-door that has a rock band that on our visit started its rehearsal at 7:30 in the morning which frankly was a little maddening. because it’s a loft space, Bathrooms and kitchen were pristine however, the space could use a little deeper cleaning at the next turnover.
I stayed here for one day to watch a football game and got woken up at 7 am by someone playing the drums next door. The place itself was great, and the property management was nice. It was tough to sleep at times though because you can hear a lot of stuff going on.
When we arrived at the location I had a difficult time contacting the host to get the code for the door. After waiting outside for a while and finally getting a response, we entered the building and went up to where we were staying and found the door unlocked. There are multiple units on the same floor and we weren't comfortable that the door was open and anyone could walk in. The door lock/handle were not very secure. There are 3 tvs in the unit and none of them worked properly. The one in the main living space didn't have a remote and the other remotes didn't work for it. In one bedroom the TV didn't work at all, in the other bedroom the remote barely worked and we weren't able to change the settings from german to English so our only option would have been to watch a show dubbed in German. The space was clean for the most part except for the shrimp tail I found on the rug in the main area. Overall it wasn't a bad experience and the location was perfect for walking to a ton of restaurants.
Overall excellent property and location. The only problem was a church next door with a band that started playing at 7:40 Sunday morning. So loud we couldn’t sleep in. Keep that in mind when if planning on a late Saturday night
The apartment itself is very nice, with two bedrooms, a nice kitchen and sitting area, and great bathroom. It is very noisy, however, as street noise was terribly loud. Also, there are transits between the common area and the bedrooms, so the noise carries throughout the apartment. Parking was a challenge on the street. In the morning, a woman told me I parked in a no parking zone (no sign) and should have been towed. All in all, it worked out well for us despite the noise. Also, it should be noted that you have to re-lock the door after opening it or it will be unlocked!
Nice place! Kitchen worked nicely, was able to make a thanksgiving dinner. Unit looks exactly as depicted in photos.
If you are sensitive or prefer peace and quiet, you may want to request a room on the Gold Way side. Loved the space, service, location. Looking forward to my next visit.
