Old property looks like it was quickly renovated for rental without fully making repairs. Water stains on ceiling, door shimmed with cardboard, towel racks falling down. Portable air conditioner while functional was undersized. It was not able to keep up with the 90 degree temperatures during our stay.

Clean and cute cottage close to restaurants and stores.

There was quite a bit of road noise, but overall the property was fine.

Good spot for a quick stay in Fairbanks, close to everything. Neighborhood felt safe enough, apartment is very dated but not a big deal. Missing some typical kitchen amenities if you’re really cooking a lot but otherwise ok. Prompt and friendly owner. Everything was clean.

We came to Fairbanks to visit our son. Not only is the area beautiful with lots to see and do but our accommodations were perfect. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

I spent one night during a very smoky, hot weekend. The VRBO was a refuge from the unpleasant weather. It was clean, well-appointed and quiet. The neighborhood is located away from downtown and I would categorize it as mixed but I had no problems and have no problems recommending it to families or singles.

We stayed the full amount of time (from 3:00 to 11:00) and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Large place with an awesome bed and pillows to match. Loved the fact that it had all the comforts of home and a few extras.

This house had a good location close to restaurants and breweries, was clean and the W/D was appreciated. Monique is a great host.

Upon arriving at the property, I immediately felt unsafe with the undesirable neighborhood. Wrecked and abandoned vehicles and an RV parked in front of the property. In retrospect, I realized there are no outside pictures of this property on the vrbo listing and now I know why. When entering inside the property, I realized it also was not like the pictures on the listing portrayed. Dark and dingy with sub-standard bedding and curtains. I texted the property host on my check-in day to advise I would not be staying there due to the unsatisfactory conditions. I texted her again on my check-out date to make sure she got the first text and she said she did not. I said that other vrbo hosts typically check in with guests during their stay but she didn’t (since she says she thought I was staying there). Smart door lock so she knew I never returned to the property after my initial visit. Not my typical vrbo experience. I thought vrbo vetted these oroperties better.

Lovely furniture and decor. WIFI works great, everything works. I would definitely stay here again. The hosts are also super nice and responsive! :)
