The property has been stylishly decorated, has an open, spacious feel, and indoor outdoor balcony.

The Space:

The building has a lovely sandstone heritage facade, yet a modern interior, which is spacious, light and open plan. Bedrooms are generous in size and there are two and a half bathrooms.

The apartment is perfect for couples, friends traveling together and families.



Our double-glazed windows completely isolate noise from the street.



Guest Access:

Guests have full and private use of the apartment during their stay



The Neighborhood:

Right in the middle of town, close to many restaurants offering a diverse range of cuisines, Woolworths supermarket which opens until late, and Myer department store just around the corner. If you're in to the outdoors there are camping stores right on your doorstep.

If you're lucky enough to stay on Sunday the Farmers Market is just across the road, and offers a great range of fresh local produce - a must do.



Getting Around:

There's a bus stop just across the road however you can walk to most of the main attractions, including Salamanca and the MONA ferry.

    Great location, easy to walk to everything. Unit was a good size and comfortable. We were disappointed by a number of things not working. Mainly the oven, the kitchen was one of the draw cards for us booking this unit. These have been mentioned to the property managers so hopefully they get rectified.

    Firstly, please remove the word Penthouse. This is NOT a penthouse, it's a top floor apartment. Penthouse conjures up luxury, which this apartment clearly wasn't. One of the main reasons for staying here was the use of Wi-Fi. As it never worked during our stay, this was disappointing. I appreciate the offer of a small refund, but that went back to the business, when we both had to use our own Personal Hotspots to get work done. This was a very disappointing stay for us, we try and book the best we can as we travel a lot. I did find some other reviews which basically said the same thing. Issues back in Feb/March are still unresolved, bathroom door not closing, lights not working. There was other marks in both showers and the bath, the whole place looks and feels very tired. I assume including the word penthouse let's you charge more for staying! Sorry, but definitely not for me, I don't recommend!

    Check-in was a simple process with clear instructions - if you're expecting to arrive in the dark a torch helps a bit. We checked with the host on advance and they quickly responded saying that was a bright idea. (Pun intended.)The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to rustle up a couple of decent meals in the apartment.We were there in the middle of winter and were initially a bit worried about a lack of heating in the bedrooms. We need not have worried, the heated blankets do a great job and we all stayed nice and warm throughout.All in all a lovely getaway.

    Good size propertyAccess to property is an issue you have to negotiate access down an alley surrounded by 8 rubbish bins and multiple cars hindering access then climb up outside fire escape exposed to the elements, Definetely not suitable for someone with mobility issues or Musophobia. Appartment requires multiple maintenance issues Oven not working,ceiling fan not working Master BR bathroom door will not close heating element for light not working unable to open BR window broken latch Toilet keeps running after flush annoying at night.Owner/agent needs to take a bit more pride in their presentation of the unit,just fix the issues that would be a great improvement. otherwise a pleasant stay in a good location.

    Down with family to catch up with my sister who lives in Hobart.This is perfect location so close to city centre and the Sydney Hobart yachts down at the harbour. North Hobart shops, restaurants & bars just around the corner.
