Do not book this place! Honestly please don’t book it.Worst experience I have ever had. The room was disgusting, dirty sheets, bathroom, crockery and the fridge was full of off milk. we couldn’t stay there because it smelt so bad. We took lots of photos and contacted the agency to say we were leaving. Access is via a coded door. The host told us we must have been in the wrong room (which means all the door codes for the 8 “apartments” are the same - so anyone can get into your room at night!! There is no lock on the inside of the door.). He then sent us photos of a different, clean room, saying that it was ours and that we were lying about the state of the place (we had photos which we sent). The bed was in a completely different place in the photos they sent us. We were also definitely in the room we booked. They refused to refund us, they tried to call and when I called them back they hung up on me. They still won’t refund us, we ended up paying for this room and an alternative room.After investigation, VRBO agreed the room was uninhabitable and gave us compensation themselves, but the host will still not pay. The location is in a really grim part of Huddersfield. The whole place felt dirty, unsafe and as soon as we walked in we knew we couldn’t sleep there
