Stayed Apr 29, 2023The apartment was ideally located in a quiet area only 3 blocks from the bustling center of the Oltrarno and across the river from the Uffizi. Windows open to a quiet courtyard, allowing peaceful sleep. Enough kitchen equipment for simple cooking, storage and reheating of leftovers. Building has a lift, but the apartment still requires some stair climbing.

Stayed Oct 11, 2025Positives - great location, very walkable to everything, very quiet. The apartment was clean. If you're out all day seeing the sights, it's sufficient as a base to see the city. Negatives - very dark (listing photos are not accurate), very low ceilings (my fiance is 5'10 and managed okay, but anyone taller than that would probably have issues), uncomfortable bed (not a double bed, but rather two twins pushed together), kitchen is barely usable because only one provided pan works with the induction stove (we had planned to cook at least one dinner but could not, which affected our budget), and there appears to be some black mold in the bathroom.

Stayed Jun 21, 2023The location is directly across from the Bardini garden’s entrance. The Ponte alle Grazie bridge is close and easier to cross the Arno to get to the historic center rather than navigating the throngs of tourists around Ponte Vecchio. The contact for checking in was responsive and met us exactly on-time even though he complained of having lots of check-ins that day. With that said, he literally spent 2 minutes with us to review the apartment. Once in he rushed through the rooms to check on the condition of the rooms, handed us the key and told us to message if we needed anything. How to manage the trash was not explained. The stovetop is induction but found only one pan that would work on it. In the photos it indicates a gas range. There are no wine glasses but I found if you go to the Formaggioteca Terroir a block away they will loan wine glasses for a cash deposit. The apartment is not nearly as bright as the photos make it appear and it is very small with very low ceilings. At 6 feet tall I felt claustrophobic. This also makes the shower head very low. The few windows open to small narrow interior cavities. Though with the heat the darkness was helpful. What would have been more helpful is knowing there were 2 fans in the storage closet that were not discovered until the last night of a 6 night stay. Florence is a popular destination but this apartment is expensive for what is provided, especially with the inadequate kitchen, low ceilings, and stained furniture.
