Our 3-bedroom duplex holiday apartments in Killorglin are stylishly furnished, with sunny balconies overlooking the River Laune from a first-floor aspect.



Property layout – First floor:

-Open plan kitchen with TASSIMO Vivy coffee machine

- Dining & Living area

- Bedroom 1: double ensuite sleeping 2

There is under floor heating throughout providing excellent comfort all year round.



There is a large public playground in the centre of Killorglin. Wifi is available at the property.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.



2. Security Deposit:

A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.



3. Towels:

Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details at the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).



4. Walking to the town:

Grove Lodge Holiday Homes are only a minutes’ walk from Killorglin town however please note 250 metres of which has no path, so care must be taken when walking.

    Peace and quiet excellent place, clean and comfortable Pavement connecting to the town. A larger television and maybe a more comfy sofa with some boardgames.

    River Views, Comfy Sofa, Close to Ring of Kerry and the National Park for Hiking. For Guests that are not Irish - a better explaination of the energy card and expected usage.

    Coming back to Ireland and Killorglin with our grandson for the first time was the reason for choosing this property. It didn’t disappoint. Great location. Checking in was so easy we didn’t notice it. Cottage was as described spacious and clean. It became a perfect return to a place full of happy memories. Thank you.

    The stay was mixed. The apartment is large and spacious, ideally located for touring Kerry. However, when we arrived, the heating hadn't been turned on, and we were extremely cold. We were surprised to have to pay for electricity when it wasn't agreed upon in the contract. And the cost is relatively high, as we had to add 100 euros for four nights. It costs 5 euros to run the dishwasher. Additionally, the floors were relatively dirty. The sofa was stained. This apartment is a bit outdated, as there were moldy baseboards in the WC and one of the bathrooms. We request that you cover the cost of the electricity, which was not included in the contract.

    We like the spacious appartment Good beds We like the place near the river We loved that there were 3 bathrooms We liked that there was a washing machine The host Deidre is very friendly and willing to help. A little bit more crockery and a better couch would be welcome in the appartment.

    Very much space, good selection on equipment, each room en-suite was great, location of accommodation next to a river (close to nature) sometimes warm water for showering or dishwashing was a problem, some obvious spots were dirty upon arrival (a lot of dust in the bathroom fan)

    The Accommodation was extremely tidy, and well situated. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Although they were more than adequate the amenities could use anto be more in line with the rest of the industry, i.e. maybe a larger television in the sitting room, televisions in the bedrooms and a modern speaker in the living area as opposed to a CD Player. This however is just a suggestion and not criticism by any means as stated previously Trident Holiday Homes made my stay at The Grove Lodge a delightful one.
