Stayed Dec 31, 1969Kitchen china lacked cereal bowls. We had to stand on a chair to reach some crockery no stool.. The staff were very apologetic and rectified these shortcomings immediately. The shower is pretty useless and is an ongoing problem over the years. Gilbert is a lovely apartment with beautiful views.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We love Gilbert, it has nearly all that we need - fantastic views from an open balcony, great kitchen, lovely comfortable bed (needs softer pillows). Water pressure still needs work (planned for upgrade we were told), and the internet is poor.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The wonderful location and building and of course the staff. Thank you all. We just had one slight issue re the 'matteress topper' on the pull out sofa bed that was not in the appartment for the first night where Immy my grandaughter and boyfreind were effectively sleeping on springs with a most uncomfortable night. all sorted with Clare the next day though who brough one down. May be worth a double check when 4 people are staying in Gilbert as bed only made up late evening. See you next year.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969As always warm welcome, lovely staff! Well done to Yaz & her team for the spotless apartment. Would have been helpful to have dressing table stool & an armchair in bedroom. There was nowhere to drape clothes when getting ready for bed. I took two of the dining room chairs into the bedroom. The bedroom furniture is Stag Minstrel . Secondhand items can be obtained online. The mirror needs attention or replacement. Upstairs “common/play room” was very scruffy & disappointing. Thank you
