Georgetown 2 bedrooms, one bathroom , centrally located .

I stayed here for ~2 months and would not recommend you book this property. There is a rodent issue that management failed to address adequately— on my last night a rodent awoke me at 2am in my room. Additionally, it took almost 1 month to reconcile the air conditioning issue as only one room had A/C initially. I can say that the location is very nice, but other than that, there is not much I have to say on the positive side. Pros: - Location Cons: - Rodents !!! - Bad air conditioning - Refrigerator leaks - Small kitchen - Photos do not represent property: only one floor, photos are probably of other unit - Generally slow/inadequate response to issues

The location for this Vrbo was excellent. It was within walking distance of all the Georgetown stores, a CVS, and Trader Joe's. The Metra stop was about 10 minutes away but the Circulator Bus Stop was extremely close. There were many restaurants nearby as well. It was close to a very popular restaurant so there are many people that walked by and looked into our apartment nightly. The corner can also be very noisy at night with people and traffic. Because of the busy location, we were afraid to send anything that wouldn't fit through the mail slot for fear it would get stolen if left outside the door. For a short stay, this isn't an issue, but for a longer stay, like ours, it was challenging. The nearest Amazon locker or post office was a pretty long walk. There is laundry facilities in the basement that require quarters to use. Initially we had some issues with the listing saying that there are 2 bathrooms, but it has been corrected to list only the 1 bathroom. There is a local contact who is helpful and responsive and the Host is also responsive to messages. Overall, we had a great stay despite a rocky start.
