Galveston Loft in the Heart of It All

Perfect location. Walking distance to many restaurants and the Strand area.

Host could improve service communication. Towels felt like they were dried on an outside line and there were no blankets even though the weather was dipping down into the low 50s and it was very windy!

Loved our stay here, clean inviting arrangements. Just wished the elevator was working to haul up luggage. Other than that, would still stay here again!

No hot water in shower

My pillow smelled liked B.O., disgusting! I wondered if my bed sheets weren’t laundered. Alternate pillows were flat, blinds were hard to open/close and were dusty, noisy street (cars and people), front door to the building didn’t lock properly (you could hear it being slammed by others). Parking is a pain! Otherwise, it is in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops.

We had a nice stay, only thing was the stairs for us and no parking nearby... but overall, everything else was nice... would probably stay again just not on the 3rd floor lol....

Enjoyed our accommodation. Floors were creaky loud, but the place was very clean. Just has a very short cancelation period. Weather was not beach Weather, so we were locked into our stay. Overall we are satisfied.

Everything was wonderful! The house was very clean and check in process was very smooth. It’s a very safe location, the entry door locks from the outside after you’re inside and you can only get in with a code! The only small complain I have was the construction noise a few buildings down the place which can be heard in the morning but other than that it was a beautiful stay!!

The unit is on the 3rd floor, for those of you who don't care to climb stairs. The building and unit had a lot of charm, which what I was looking for. There were plenty of shopping and good restaurants just around the corner. I will stay in the building again, but probably on the second floor.

This property was in the perfect location, near the strand. the property itself was quiet and clean. I also thought i was going to have trouble finding parking since it is street parking and we were coming and going often, but we had no issues at all!! The bed was super comfy and the sheets were clean! Most importantly, the communication with Beach Box was excellent! Will definitely be booking again in the near future!

Great location. Easy walks to the Strand and Pier

My wife and I liked that we found the loft in a clean, well maintained manner. Everything was pretty easy to find and the property manager was quick and polite to respond. We had an overall great stay!!!

Perfect for 1894 grand theatre events

We had a quick stay in Galveston. This property was in a great location, walking diatance to restaurants and the 1894 Opera House. Beautiful apartment and very nice.

Room is nice, plenty of space, close walking distance to downtown. The floor is squeaky, bedroom light and fan comes on and off by itself. That might be because of the remote used to control the functions picking up signals from other apartments or a friendly ghost but wasn’t a huge deal.

Absolutely loved this stay. It was clean, had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking around the blocks, the beach wasn’t too far. It was great.

This was our second time to stay in this building. It’s very old, but beautiful and well maintained. It was in a great location. We were able to walk a few blocks to grab a coffee for breakfast. There were also bikes available that we could have used. This place was perfect for our one night stay. Parking can be a little tricky, but it wasn’t terrible. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Pictures wonderful. Listing does not tell elevators do not work, have to walk up many flights of stairs for 2nd or 3rd floors. This is a deal-breaker; will not book again. Address details misleading, entrance on side of bldg, different name. Can't contact host.

I made a quick trip to Galveston, and this is the first time I've stayed downtown. I loved the location and the loft itself. I was a little worried about parking, but it wasn't a problem because I spent most of the day out and about. I was able to find parking very close for the evening. The loft had everything I needed and was very comfortable. I would definitely choose this place again!

The property was lovely. We have stayed at Galveston before..often in December before our yearly cruise. We have never stayed in town. It was quiet and clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Great location in Galveston. Love the historical elements of the apt, like the hardwood floors and doors! Comfy and clean. I would of like more blankets (they only had blankets on the bed) for my son, he was sleeping on the couch. Please note the elevator did not work, so we had to carry all of luggage up 2 flights of stairs - if you have physical limitations then this is problematic. I also hit my head on the counter behind the couch when I sat down, was sore for several days. Overall, we would stay here again!

Overall...very nice. The elevator was not operational.
