Stayed Jun 16, 2025The home was clean but there was a musty smell in the upstairs bedroom. It got better once the air was circulating within a couple of days. Home could use some updating. Overall, not a bad place to stay, especially to be close to all of the activities in Savannah.

Stayed Mar 28, 2025This was absolutely perfect for myself and 4 of my gal pals for a Bachelorette Party. We loved the upstairs location, open concept, separate sleeping quarters! It was absolutely perfect. We were able to walk to some places and the short jaunt to the grocery store was amazing. We were able to easily Lyft for 10 everywhere else. Savannah has so much to see and this was just a perfect and safe location for us. Thank you so much!!!

Stayed Jul 28, 2024House needs updating very bad, made to believe it was a private home but its 2 apartments. Kitchen was great. No room for group of 6. Beds are hard and uncomfortable. No blinds on windows and ac didnt work as it should for the area, parking behind house is tight and road is a disaster to drive on. Bathrooms need updating with new water fixtures and interior doors needs repaired and or updating, locks do not work correctly. Would be great vacation home if updates are done correctly and a little pride put into work.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024The property is exactly as advertised. It is the upstairs half of an older Victorian house that has been redone inside. It has everything one might need, to include a parking spot in the alley behind the house, a key consideration for us. The rate is lower than that of other more polished rental properties that are in the center of the historic district, in some cases a lot lower; those do not often include a parking spot. The house is close to Krogers (with a Starbucks inside) as well as another coffee/breakfast place. It is very walkable to downtown (~1 mile/15-20 min) assuming you have no health impediments. Yes, there are stairs. Again, this was not an issue for us. House has a lot of charm - old wood floors, big windows, etc., but the doors/floors creak, the bathrooms are not overly large, etc.; it is an older home. It is also on the outer edge of the Victorian district where some of the gentrification is still in-progess but most homeowners take good care of their properties. The owner made a lot of information (pamphlets, written descriptions of restaurants etc.) available about the area, which we found very helpful. Beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the handy use of the in-unit washer and dryer. We had a great stay.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024We enjoyed our stay, but the overall quality was not what we expected. The place had been renovated but it was not professional quality. Furnishings were limited as well as the way the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked. The photos made it look nicer than it was. There are a lot of stairs, do take that into account if you have any troubles with stairs. 2 of the 3 bedrooms had no dressers- so we lived out of our suitcases for 5 days. The location suited us well, it was close to everything we wanted to do. The dishwasher, washer and dryer were all a little tricky to operate. The experience was adequate, and a good size for 5, but accommodate 8 with the use of the pullout couch. It feels overpriced for the way the lodging turned out.

Stayed Jun 4, 2024The property was easy to access. We utilized the private parking located in the back of the home and accessed on a parallel street, as the on street parking was slim and construction going on limited parking access. The neighborhood was a short drive to River st area and a cheap Uber if you want to avoid looking and paying for parking. The unit was very clean, well stocked with toiletries and all kitchen necessities. There's only a TV in the living room, which may be fine for some people but anyone like me that needs the TV on to sleep it becomes a little problematic. The only other suggestion i would have on the property is to have to add actual privacy shades to the living area windows as the sdjac
