Fun, Family Friendly Restored Fire House 2 Bedroom Apt

My sister and I stayed and loved it. Jon was so nice. He met us at check-in and showed us around the rental. After meeting us, even did a little research and sent us some tips for getting around the area. They had everything we could’ve needed. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. We loved our stay at Chez Fuego. What a unique rental property! It was just as described and had more than enough room for our family of four. A great location for exploring both Salem and Boston. Salem was an easy drive and the nearby train station was easy to access for a day trip into Boston. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable and I enjoyed sitting out on the deck area to drink tea in the morning. Jon was very communicative with arrival and departure instructions and took the time to show us around and share some history of the restoration with us. We would love to stay again if we were in the area!

We had a wonderful stay! We will be staying here on our next trip. It was very comfortable, like going to my grandparents house!

What a great stay in a little piece of history. The fire house, Chez Fuego, was cute and comfortable. The location was convenient to Boston and other areas by train or car. The neighborhood was quiet, walkable and we felt very safe. The stairs leading to the upstairs full bath and two bedrooms are a bit steep, so if you have mobility concerns, this one may not be for you. BUT, if you don’t, I highly recommend this wonderful home. The owners are very gracious and were always a phone call or text away if we needed anything.

The house was clean and had plenty of space. It was close to the train for a quick ride to downtown. The owners were excellent in their communication and extremely helpful through the stay. Highly recommended.

We loved staying in this home. Owners were very helpful and gave suggestions when needed. The home was spotless. A nice quiet neighborhood just a few miles from Boston. It was easy to see the sights using Uber and public transportation. The home was unique and delightful! Such great history and beautiful!!.

What a fun and unique apartment to stay in with combined family. Everyone had their own space and could gather in a central space if desired! Loved the idea of it being a restored firehouse-preservation of these are so important!Location was great for traveling to Boston and Salem. Public transportation in Boston is easy to maneuver and get around with!!Jon was easily accessible as a host which made the entire stay very comfortable!Would definitely recommend-and will stay there again in if we ever get back that way!

The location was very convenient for visiting Boston by train and driving to Salem. We had a pleasant stay and the host were very helpful and considerate, even after we accidentally crushed a couple flowers while parking our truck. Sorry…

We loved our stay at this restored fire house! The space feels incredibly spacious and comfortable and everything was clean and welcoming. It was fun to see all the vintage details throughout and there were great books and games for entertainment. The AC worked well and it was great to have a washer and dryer. We enjoyed the little back porch as well and saw some good sunset views. The hosts were very friendly, communicative, and super helpful when we had some changes to our travel plans and other questions.

This apartment was so special! It was well appointed, cozy, and had everything we needed to celebrate America's 250th birthday in Boston.

So much about the Firehouse was awesome. It was quiet, even though it was in a busy neighborhood. The garden and parking spot behind the building were incredible, so we didn't have to worry about street parking. The owners, who live next door, were super friendly and let us in to the apartment. We didn't hear much noise at night and could sleep very well. So much history and so unique! The central A/C also worked very well even though it was north of 100 degrees outside!

Absolutely loved the property. It's a few miles out of the downtown area, but it's worth it. It's like staying in a museum of a 19th century firehouse. Everything is in perfect condition and modern yet classic looking. Very well equipped in general. Great communication. Highly recommended

Such a cool well restored historical building… a real firehouse. Only thing missing is the fire pole! Listing is accurate. The place is wonderfully well appointed, and the owners are as attentive as you need them to be.

We had an amazing time and the hosts were very helpful. It is nice to be outside the major city but the house is still close to many historic sites and other family activities.

Very nice, historic property! Plenty of updates and creature comforts for the modern family. We all thoroughly enjoyed the stay, with the biggest complaint (and an EXTREMELY small one at that) being the creakiness of the wooden floors. We would absolutely come back and stay again the next time we come to Boston.

We really enjoyed staying at the firehouse. The accommodations were great and there is a lot of interesting wall art. Very clean, comfy beds, really great. Owners were amazing as well.

I was traveling with a friend on a road trip. This property was amazing and the hosts were just as great!

The lower level of this two floor apartment actually feels larger than you would expect from the photos. Plenty of room for relaxing and entertaining. The upstairs bedrooms are both spacious and comfortable, with a shared bathroom down the hall. We really enjoyed our week in Malden at the fire house!

Amazing place to stay. The pictures don't do this place justice. It was amazing. I can't say enough about our stay.it was everything we expected plus more. Anyone staying here will be extremely satisfied
