The living room has a 50` TV where you can log into any streaming service you wish using the Amazon Firestick.

Whether you prefer playing in the sand at the beach or frolicking in the snow (or both), this destination has it all. We highly recommend planning to watch the sunset from either the hot tub after a day of hiking, skiing or skating or pour yourself a drink and take in the sunset from the cozy lounge area on the top floor balcony off the master bedroom.

When you’re away with the family, a great kitchen is always a must, and in this kitchen, you will not be disappointed. Go ahead, cook your favourite dish or try something new in the pristine kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and everything you need to get the job done with ease. It also features a dedicated dining area with seating for six where you can serve great meals and share stories, before heading out the door where adventure awaits.

You’ll find the kitchen fully equipped with:
– Plenty of Pots/Pans/Platters for large meals.
– Serving utensils.
–Tongs for grilling on the BBQ.
– Full set of knives.

Also included in your stay is a washer and dryer complete with detergent. There is extra space in the entry closet to organize your summer or winter gear. You’ll also have your own designed parking spot, offering you another level of convenience, guaranteeing you won’t have to spend time searching for visitor or street parking. However, if you have more than one vehicle, there is plenty of additional parking.

You will have access to a dedicated parking spot during your stay. There are additional visitor parking spots in the main parking lot if needed. All visitors are required to place a parking pass on their vehicles for the duration of their stay.

Check-In/Checkout
After booking, you will receive access to your personalized guest portal, with information on the property and its amenities. 3 days prior to check-in, you will receive detailed check-in instructions and directions to the property.

We have set up a seamless entry for our guests. There will be no reason to slow you down upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there`s something you need during your stay with us.

The Whiteway: A 30km multi-use trail groomed for both cross-country skiing and skating. It was granted the world record as the world’s longest-maintained skating trail by the Guinness Book of World Records.

Greywolf Golf Course: Enjoy this world-renowned course ranked among the top 15 best courses in Canada, perfectly positioned against the backdrop of the Purcell mountains. Also close by are Windermere Valley Golf Course, The Ridge at Copper Point & Eagle Ranch Golf Course.

The Farmer’s Market (Summer) - Enjoy shopping for fresh produce and local specialties every Saturday morning at our town’s local market.

You will require a car to get to Akiskinook Resort and to venture around the Columbia Valley. It is located very conveniently just off of highway 93. The resort amenities are all within walking distance.

**Please note that a full set of stairs are required to access the unit & more once inside to each of the bedrooms and thus may not be a good fit for those with mobility issues.**

To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, and pass through our verification portal.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
* You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
* You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.
* You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.


HOUSE RULES:
1. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. A noise monitor in the unit will test decibels throughout the day.

2. Neither parties nor events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit is 8 people.

3. There is no smoking permitted on the property including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.

4. No pets of any kind are allowed on the property.

5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.

6. Please leave the community keycard where you found it in the unit upon checkout. If it is lost or stolen there will be a $100 replacement charge. If you lose it during your stay, please let us know ASAP so we can get one quickly for the next guests.

7. Please know that there is no lifeguard on duty at the pool area. Kids under the age of 14 are required to be accompanied by an adult at all times. We also ask that you please refrain from bringing glass on the pool deck.

8. You will be provided with the Akiskinook Rules in your rental agreement which is required to be signed prior to arrival. Any fines that occur during your stay will be charged back to the renters whose name is on the reservation.

    We were visiting family for xmas and stayed here for several nights. We had a wonderful time. Short drive into town for groceries, and access to the recreation center made this extra special.

    Nice place, well maintained and clean.  The unit has everything you need .  For winter stays the living room is a little on the cool side, you may need to set up a heater or use the fire place.  Good location pool and hot tub area is well kept.

    Overall, very nice property in a great location. There was a few things that needed fixing/cleaning on the property (fan in downstairs room was extremely dirty, screen door to deck was broken and couldn't be used).

    Lovely unit. Very clean with nice decor. Nice linens, and comfortable beds. Modern appliances and well stocked kitchen. A/C in the upper bedrooms was a huge bonus during the hot weather. Would definitely stay there again.

    We enjoyed our stay. Booking midweek in June we pretty much had the resort to ourselves, it was quiet and peaceful with beautiful views, and yes amazing sunsets.One thing that should be noted is the steep hill and set of stairs from the parking lot to the condo, definitely not recommended for anyone with mobility issues or seniors. The property management team promised to post this in their description of the property.Slightly annoying were the many chipped plates, only three usable coffee cups, dirty deck, and the fuse panel hidden behind a picture frame (not in the closet as posted). Again the property management team needs to be a bit more diligent.

    We had hoped to find an affordable place for a short spring getaway. It was everything we had hoped to keep the kids entertained. The rec center provided space and entertainment for the kids for hours on end. The townhouse just as expected in a nice quiet community.

    I stayed here for 4 nights (Feb 2025) with my family and we had a great time! The place was clean and had everything we needed.The amenities at the rec centre (about a 5 minute or so walk) were great and kept our little family busy! The pool was amazing, games room was a blast, the gym gave the kids places to run around and the skating rink is beautiful. This is a great spot close to Panorama for skiing, but would be great in the summer as well!! We will be back:)

    Our stay was fabulous. The condo is very well kept, had all the things we needed to have a few days away from home. Beds were super comfy and cozy. We made use of the pool, hot tub and view!! Spectacular.

    The property is located in a great area on Lake Windermere, close to many amenities such as Invermere, Fairmont, Go-kart, Golf, etc. The resort of Akiskinook is great, tons of fun for a family. The private beach, pickleball courts, basketball area, and playground are top notch. The indoor rec centre could use some updates, but is great fun with a games room and pool / hot tub. The fitness areas is dated, but has a few cardio options. The unit itself is a three-bedroom, but tight for a family of 8 or more. The main floor bedroom does not have AC (likely due to the window set-up?) so beware if visiting in July or early August that the main floor itself and bedroom will not cool nearly as well as the two upstairs bedrooms which have the portable AC units. The bunk room is great for kids, and even young adults, so you could fit four people in there easily. The kitchen is well-stocked, has many more utensils, kids plates, bowls, devices, etc than you would find in the average rental. There are a few small things that kept us from rating the unit perfect, including; garbage bags that were too small for the main kitchen garbage (we went and bought larger ones instead), the area under the couch that had never been swept or cleaned, a lack of scissors despite room in the knife block for them, a wasp nest on the upstairs patio under the table, and a tub drain / plug that sticks and is hard to pop up. Very minor updates and fixes that can easily bring the unit to a full rating.
