Frangipani 101 Hamilton Island

Views are unreal and apartment is so spacious aswell as clean.

Enjoyed the quiet end of town while still having easy access to the not quiet end of town. The building also has access to really nice pool that was nearly empty most of the time. It was nice to pretty much have the pool to yourself.. we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Beautiful apartment unit with all of the necessary amenities. Host is responsive and easy to communicate with. Just a really memorable stay!

The fact that it was a world Heritage site made it stand out and did not disappoint.

My main complaint was that the property advertised that the main TV had cable / satellite channels available. Unfortunately, this was not the case. As my wife and I are huge AFL and F1 followers we were extremely disappointed that there was only free to air channels available. When I contacted the owner regarding this issue the response was extremely flippant. To make things worse the TV in the bedroom didn't work at all. Overall, the property is in a very good location and well laid out however, it's getting a little tired. The balcony was extremely large; however, it hadn't been cleaned properly for some time.

The Host is lovely and apartment is great ! The apartment had semi clean floors but very limited with its amenities. Eg lacking in tea, face washes, toilet paper, paper towel, milk etc. A trip to IGA is necessary to get started. The Elite managers didnt meet us at the airport and very unfriendly to deal with . Apartment was standard two bed, big enough for four adults. Beds were comfortable.

First, if you are considering going to Hamilton Island, go! Second, if you are looking for accommodation for 4, then this is the spot. While every location on Hamilton is good, this property was perfect given the incredible view of the islands from your private deck and that it’s at the “end” of the road, so very quiet and secluded. But still only a 4 minute buggy ride to the harbour, or an easy 15 minute walk. The unit itself is very clean and well maintained. While the complex may be older the unit has no doubt been remodelled, looking modern and fresh. Check in was a breeze, the service company they use is really good. Having the exclusive use of a golf buggy is an added bonus, to rent a buggy is 85 per day! We ended up cooking dinner every night because the kitchen was so well appointed and the seating area spacious including the table on the huge deck where we ate every night looking at the amazing view.

The stay was wonderful. The apartment was exactly what we needed and we loved that the private pool was never crowded and those that were there were lovely. There was nothing more we could have asked for from the apartment or the host. We would highly recommend Frangapani 101 to anyone (and already have). What a wonderful holiday.

From the moment we touched down on the island, to being dropped off at the airport on our departure we had an awesome stay on Hamilton Island and at Frangipani 101. The accomodation was spacious, comfortable and clean with amazing views over Catseye Beach and the adjoining islands Having local bird and animal life pop up was an added bonus. Location was perfect for us - nice and quiet with an amazing balcony and outdoor area and a tranquil pool at our disposal. A couple of minor glitches with housekeeping were promptly dealt with by Jenni,our host, who was alway prompt in getting back to us. The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor bbq with loads of crockery etc to make dining in an easy experience. We ate in on three of our nights and had great dinners out at Coco Chu (opening night after refurb), Romano's and the pub. The first two were top notch for food and service. Having a golf cart on hand was a blessing and made exploring a lot more easier. The only suggestion that I would offer (minor) would be a clearer laminated sheet in room outlining all the basics, wifi password, location of recycling bins, local maps etc to alleviate minor issues on arrival. Apart from that, this place is a no brainer. As working couples, we wanted spend the week before Christmas to unwind from our stressful jobs. And unwind we did. A great experience all round. I would highly recommend this place if you are thinking of coming to Hamilton Island.

We spent a wonderful 6 days staying on Hamilton Island. The accommodation fantastic for a family, and was exactly as advertised and in an excellent location. The use of the concierge to and from the airport was great. We weren't 100% sure where to go to find them when we arrived, but they eventually found us. The use of a golf buggy was great to get around. We highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return. can'tcouldnhighlyrecobuthasgreat.

Property is great, just not the cleanest But overall great location and view.

We had a week on Hamilton island , exploring the Great Barrier Reef , and other day trips . We had a great holiday

Was great. Our only suggestion is availability of an outdoor tap to wash off beach sand and maybe an additional beach towel each so we didn’t have to use the drier. Nearly sue for a revamp especially the bathrooms Loved the location and the views from the balcony.

The property was well located and had great views over the water. All facilities you would want and the golf cart was an added bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed quiet location with just a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Frangipani 101 is one of our all time favourite holiday accommodations. The apartment is spacious, clean and fully equipped. We spent lazy mornings soaking up the sun on the balcony (after watching the sunrise from our bed), and the evening enjoying a glass of wine as the sun set behind the hill. The included use of the golf buggy gave us easy access to all Hamilton Island has to offer. We loved the location of the Frangipani apartments. They are far enough away from the pools and hotel to have a relaxed feel, but at the same time only a short walk from the action. We were so impressed with Frangipani 101 that we did not want to leave. I could sit and soak up that view endlessly.

Having family travel all the way from the UK for a tropical break, we were thrilled to find such an apartment that ticked all our boxes - clean, spacious yet cosy, balcony with a beautiful view to sit and have breakfast, walking distance to the pool, beach and walking trails and the use of a buggy made exploring the island a breeze! Great apartment with beautiful views.

Great location. Beautiful view. Very comfortable beds. Well equiped kitchen. Golf buggy is great for getting around the Island. TV is older / not Smart. So to cast from devices you need a chrome Cast or similar.
