Summary:
Welcome to the Four Reasons! The four reasons to stay here are the location to the metro, proximity to night life, access to incredible food, and the comfort you will feel inside the home. Upon entry, you will find a cozy living room with a 65 inch SmartTV, a couch that pulls out into a queen bed, a kitchen ready to cook all your meals, and a dining area to enjoy them. In the bedroom you will find a Four Seasons King mattress, an ensuite bathroom, and a back patio that is yours toenjoy.

The Space:
Every inch of this incredible apartment has been meticulously designed by the owner.

Ideal for folks traveling on business or a family sightseeing trip, we can comfortably sleep 4 guests as follows;

~King size Four Seasons mattress bed in the primary bedroom
~Sofa doubles as a pull-out Queen bed
~Outdoor space for guests to enjoy

Loads of natural light creates a cozy, sophisticated space for guests to unwind after sightseeing, while still having the option to spread out.

The kitchen includes all appliances and everything you'll need to whip up a meal, or order take-in from the surrounding award-winning restaurants. The dining space doubles as a laptop friendly workspace, perfect for getting some work done amidst adventuring.

The living room comes complete with a 65 inch SmartTV, the perfect recipe for a cozy evening in after a long day exploring the sights!

Guests are welcomed to enjoy a meal at home, but with the iconic restaurants right outside your door, we think you will be out of the home more than you will be in. Most notably Lauriol Plaza is steps from your front door. 14th St is known for some of DC’s most revered restaurants, notably Barcelona, Le Diplomat, and Compass Rose.  Additionally, the house is only 5 blocks from the surprisingly affordable North Africa /Caucasian fusion restaurant, Maydan, voted America’s #2 restaurant by Bon Appetit magazine. For those more interested in iconic landmarks and DC’s music scene than fine dining, Ben’s Chili Bowl, the Lincoln theater, and DC’s  most famous Jazz venue, the 930 Club are short strolls away.

Your search for where to stay in DC for business or pleasure stops here! Our centrally located, stunning contemporary home is the ideal space to rest your head and get the most out of the city just outside your door.

Guest Access:
The private apartment is not shared with anyone else.

There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, stairs, kids playing, etc.) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.

The tenants upstairs use the back gate to get to their parking spot. You might see them from time to time, but they will not bother you or enter your space.

The Neighborhood:
Great restaurants, walking distance to Washington's best attractions. Sunday Dupont Farmer's Market, two pharmacies and a grocery store within a short walking distance. Very centrally located. Dawson's market is a great grocery store close by with local goodies and a deli inside.
Close to metro (red line). Great local bars, restaurants and night life!
Dupont Circle Metro -- 8 min
Safeway -- 8 min
CVS Pharmacy -- 4 min
Walgreens -- 4 min
Whole Foods -- 15 min
14th Street/Logan Circle -- 18 min
Adams Morgan -- 5 min
White House -- 24 min
Georgetown & Waterfront -- 28 min
Smithsonian Museums/National Mall -- 30 min

Guests will have access to everything the vibrant Dupont Circle neighborhood offers. The hub of activity in Dupont Circle often makes it feel like DC’s true city center. This trendsetting neighborhood boasts more long-term residents than summer interns, lending it a lived-in quality that’s uncommon in a city of new arrivals.  More restaurant choices than you would ever have time for and cute shops to browse and enjoy.

Getting Around:
Walkers paradise: restaurants, bars, and fun within steps of your door.

There are tons of bikes (regular and e-bike) and scooters you can rent, just download the app to rent: Uber (2-wheels), Lime, Bird, or Spin are the most common. The app will show where is the closest bike or scooter available, usually within a few steps. Capitol Bikeshare has specific docking sites, including across the street. We recommend to take advantage of the bike lane (on 17 and 15 St NW) that leads to the National Mall in just 9 minutes!! There are two ZipCar spaces located 100 feet away. You can access these cars using the ZipCar app.

This was an excellent spot for my 2 teenagers and I to stay while exploring DC. The location was an easy walk to the Metro (which we used daily), convenience and grocery stores, and great restaurants. Since we were managing a budget, pleased to find all we needed in the kitchen to cook for the week as well as a grill to cook out a couple of nights. As described, there was some notice of the occupants upstairs but it was typically brief and minor, mostly just the usual foot traffic, and never felt it was obtrusive or excessive. It was great having a king size bed since I was sharing with my daughter, and my son seemed comfortable on the pull out. The whole place felt cozy to relax in after long days exploring DC. Directions and communication were great, quick responses and helpful information. Highly recommend!
