Fountain Avenue - Pacific Grove Apartment - Steps to the Sea

Great place with all the necessary items and amenities. Super walkable and close to the waterfront, lively eateries, amazing bakery with the best coffee and bookstore.

This property can’t be beat for the location near the walking path along the ocean. It was a nice neighborhood feel and enjoyed walking to the nearby farmers market. It was very clean and tidy. There were plenty of big windows which let in a lot of light. Very comfortable and will definitely stay there again.

Couch was very uncomfortable.

Wonderful location and great small vacation home for two, very clean & the bed was so comfortable! Unfortunately the sofa described as well as pictured in the listing has been replaced with the a loveseat that we were unable to sit in, it sits mere inches off the ground with no padding, really awful. The host contact never responded to texts or phone messages, finally able to contact property manager after hours who sent someone to install risers to lift the sofa up a few inches…. We made do, and other that that it was a really nice place!

Kitchen had minimal supplies. The biggest problem was that the sofa was terrible, very low to the ground, no cushions and not the white leather couch pictured on the website. We had to use pillows to sit on the couch. We contacted the host with no response. Also, the washer/dryer was smelly and required change to operate. Great location, just needs imporvement with furnishings.

We loved everything about this cute little place. We found it comfortable and it supplied our basic needs during our stay. And the location can't be beat! We would return to the Fountain Avenue apartment if/when we return to Pacific Grove.

Great location just steps from Lover's Beach and short walk to main street with restaurants, shops and galleries.Accommodation is basic, but functional. Kitchen is adequate but not for much more than simple meal prep Plenty of on street parking.

Very good property to stay! 1/2 block from the ocean trail and about 3 blocks from downtown. Loads of shops and restaurants to peruse. About a mile walk along the ocean trail to the aquarium and Cannery Row. Fully stocked kitchen of pots, pans etc.if you wanted to cook. Only downside was very inexpensive/very uncomfortable furniture in living room. Would stay again if they upgraded the couch.

House was a perfect location for us to enjoy the walking trails and the beautiful ocean view.

The Fountain Avenue rental was just lovely. The neighborhood was great with all the neighbors being very friendly. We were just several houses away from Monterey Bay coastal Trail. Just down the trail from lovers point. Great restaurants and shops several blocks away on Lighthouse Ave. Specially loved the little red house for breakfast. Great drinks and entertainment at pop and hiss. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Bath towels were exceptionally thick and luxurious. Bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay there again! Had a weird washer dryer set up.

The property is as described in this VRBO listing. The property location is very residential and amazing. A short walk both to the beach and to downtown with lots of restaurant choices. We were very happy with our stay on Fountain Ave!

We originally chose this area as we were planning a trip down the Pacific Coast Highway past Big Sur. We were very pleasantly surprised by the Pacific Grove area. There were some very nice restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Our accommodations were just right for the location and amenities. The booking and check in process was very easy and the description was bang on. Very pleasant indeed.

We loved the location! The apartment was clean and well appointed. We cooked most of meals there and had everything we needed. It is a quick walk to multiple restaurants and you can see the water from the front windows.

Walked into a face full of spiderweb entering. He was an industrious son of a gun and walked out last morning to another face full. I think I got him the second time though. 😂

It was a comfortable place to stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed. The place was clean. I would stay here again.

Spotless, well-equipped, and two blocks from the ocean in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. Walk from the home to as far as you'd like in any direction: to restaurants, shopping, Monterey, along the ocean, or through neighborhoods. Manager was very responsive.
