Stayed Jul 4, 2019We had a wonderful stay in the perfectly located apartment in the center of things in Rome! Very quiet inside with great windows and shutters to help keep out the very hot July temperatures. Comfortable beds, a great terrace rounded things out for our week long stay. Will stay again!

Stayed Jun 22, 2019Centrally located with a beautiful view. It had all the comforts I expected from the description, simple, not luxurious but very comfortable. And the terrace view, it was outstanding. St. Peters from the terrace....a definite wow factor. And don't worry about restaurants, air conditioning and sounds from Campo di Fiore. However there was a very important omission from the description that the property manager was totally aware. Other sounds than the fun at the Piazza. Demolition and I assume construction with power tools on the apartment above us. At 8 AM we were awoken with very loud power cutting tools (reciprocating saw) and abrasives grinding away. This went from Monday morning through Wednesday morning. It may have continued on Thursday but we left early on a tour and left before their 8 AM start time. We paid promptly, and even was required to pay an additional deposit while checking into the property. We were never alerted by the Property Manager or Owner of the very loud and definitely awakening sounds we endured, which thoroughly disrupted and ruined our stay. With this in mind, I feel that we should have been alerted of this inconvenience and had the choice to cancel or reschedule our well planned stay. In other words we were stuck by lies through omission. I feel I have the right to have known this before we even left for Europe, and at the very least, before our arrival 10 days later. We scheduled the property rental in February and again, was never told of this. I have rented over 25 properties in my years in Europe. Never have I had to tolerate noise to wake to due to workmen. I would NEVER rent a property in this state. Again, the property manager was totally aware of this and never mentioned it until he sent a text confirming his knowledge of this situation 3 days or so into our stay after all the electric grinding and cutting wake up calls. I am not sure of other's feelings, but after paying the required rent, don't you feel you have the right to know and not be deceived.? I feel I was totally deceived and I thought HomeAway would never endorse such actions....but it happened and I feel I was taken advantage. I had the right to know!

Stayed Mar 1, 2019We walked in the apartment and immediately felt ‘at home’. The living room was inviting and the kitchen serviceable, but since there were so many good little restaurants within walking distance we didn’t do a whole lot of cooking, even though there’s a butcher, fish store, specialty grocery store and all the fresh produce you could desire, a stone’s throw away! Back in New York this morning we missed the bright blue sky visible first thing upon waking up out the bed room window and hearing the bells chime from all directions. The bells were about the only sound we were aware of, and despite the proximity of the Campo dei Fiori, the apartment was very quiet. And of course there’s the terrace, which even in March was lovely. Another good feature was that the owner’s agent was available instantaneously and at all hours to offer assistance if requested. All in all, we spent a lovely month and hope to return sometime.

Stayed Dec 26, 2018Our family of four loved this spot. It was perfect for the four of us. Close to all that old Rome has to offer. We didn’t get in a car all week as we were able to walk everywhere. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Stayed Jul 3, 2018Our family of four stayed a week here in July and had a wonderful time. Although the apartment was comfortable, what we enjoyed most was the great location—within walking distance to great food, stores, & attractions. The main piazza just downstairs from the apartment is bustling with nightlife in the evening, and has a farmers market in the morning with stands selling fruits, vegetables, smoothies, flowers, and trinkets. A great salami & cheese shop around the corner, an amazing sandwich stand off the main piazza, and wonderful restaurants surround the apartment (the best restaurants were the ones that didn’t have someone standing out front trying to convince you to come eat at their restaurant). Matteo was slow to respond to emails, but I believe it’s because this is a private rental and he is busy traveling abroad and working—however, he does eventually respond and once he got us in touch with Tomasso who would help us with check in and check out process—Tomasso was wonderful, very responsive, easy going and helpful. Although the apartment was on the pricey side for us, it was the perfect location for exploring Rome, within walking distance to food and shopping, and has a lovely roof top patio. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Tomasso and Matteo!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969As all the other reviewers have said, this really is a wonderful apartment. It is spacious with plenty of light, has a fully equipped kitchen and the terrace is fantastic. Add the fact that it is just off the Campo di Fiori and therefore in easy walking distance to all the major sights in Rome and you have the perfect package. And, Matteo and Tommaso are the perfect hosts.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is the third yer in a row that our family (4) spends a whole month in Attico Campo the Fiori. We live in the US, but me and my wife work in Rome for a month every year, and find this apartment perfect for our needs. It is centrally located so all the major attractions in Rome are in walking distance. The apt has two bedrooms, not huge but spacious enough, with nice A/C so you can sleep well during the hot Roman nights. Nice living room, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher and all), and two bathrooms, all very well maintained. But the true jewel is the terrace. It is spacious, with beautifully manicured plants and flowers, plenty of chairs and tables and breathtaking views over Roman rooftops, and three churches, including Saint Peter. Our family and friends spent many many evenings just sitting there, enjoying an aperitivo kissed by the gentle Roman breeze, under the golden sunsets.. thanks for the memories, we plan to be back next year!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I enjoyed a lovely month-long stay in this bright, spacious apartment, where we immediately felt at home. The apartment has a comfortably lived-in feel, filled with artwork, books, and character. It was very clean, and it was great to have the housekeeping service to keep everything pristine, not to mention having our laundry done for us. The large terrace makes this apartment particularly special, and we never tired of the spectacular views of three church domes and surrounding rooftop gardens or the gorgeous golden evening light. We ate most of our meals at home, and I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen with its full array of cookware and abundance of dishes and utensils (no microwave, but a 4-burner stove and an oven, which I much prefer). There was plenty of space for the two of us, but even when our daughter and her wife visited us for a week, the apartment never felt crowded; and it was especially nice to have the two bathrooms. The central location is very convenient to the major sights, shopping, and restaurants, while being on a set-back upper floor muffles any street noise and the night-time outdoor life in Campo de' Fiori; in fact, the apartment is amazingly quiet and peaceful. This was our third extended-stay rental in the Centro Storico in the last seven years and was by far the nicest in terms of space, light, comfort, quiet, views, and charm. Finally, a note to anyone with a disability who might be considering this apartment: the elevator worked flawlessly but it is small; my wheelchair needed to be folded in order to fit.
