Flor de Sol - Casa Sol

Incredibly beautiful property, quality built, quality furniture, quality comfortable beds and bedding.We were a bit surprised to find it was a multi-property location, but the layout means great privacy and no disturbance. The views were incredible at all times of the day and night. Our dogs were made welcome and loved the field to roam in. Although the 'detached' kitchen was a bit of a challenge when the temperature was cooler, it was the best equipped kitchen on our travels so far. The supply of wood for the wood burner meant we were delightfully cosy on the cooler evenings. Wished we'd reserved for longer. Absolutely recommend and would absolutely return. Thank you

Beautiful and peaceful location in the countryside. Hosts were communicative and rectified promptly the two issues we had. Would highly recommend as a long stay home vacation.

Nice rural location, very peaceful and just what we needed. Casa Sol was a great retreat and had everything we needed. The area and all the surrounding islands were lovely. Renato was very welcoming and helpful.

Was easy and good and nice place

The property is nice, make sure to take the unit with the view, unless you want to look at the lavadory. The second unit is cosy although without a view. The house is nicely renovated, make sure not to leave the keys inside, door hardware is unique. The living room is not convivial and must be reassessed. If you are looking for peace and quiet on a nice valley view, there is a bit of a hick. Dogs are masters of disturbance and at sun down after their day sleep they will harmonise and keep you awake. Also in full tourist season, flights in and out from Faro will make your day. Perhaps we were unlucky and flights leaving Faro every 5 minutes and hovering at 5000 feet will break your kiet enjoyment of the scene. Anyhow the place is nice and if planes and dogs are not an issue for your vacations , you will enjoy the place.

Beautiful property and lovely quinta. Simone and Renato, the owners and our hosts, were charming and very responsive to all of our requests and questions. On our first evening, Renato drove us down to Fuzeta, waited for us to pick up a few groceries and then guided us to a sweet plaza and cafe to have dinner. We have plans to visit again next year!

We loved the care that had been taken in renovating with traditional materials, the gardens, with the fruit trees and exotic planting were very impressive. The three apartments were designed to ensure privacy for each property.
