Stayed Jun 8, 2026Ballard is charming, and the location of this basement apartment was excellent. Taking walks from here or an Uber to the train station was easy. The bedrooms of the home are good. The layout is odd, and the secondary bedroom is pretty far from the bathroom, which was not an issue for us, but might be for little kids.It was easy to check in. The hosts were very easy to reach, because they live upstairs.This is a basement apartment and the soundproofing between the floors is not what you might hope for.

We have stayed in many VRBO properties all over the world and this one was one of the cleanest and most comfortable places we’ve ever stayed! Ingrid and John were such gracious hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed and more! The location is fantastic and yes, very walkable to shops, restaurants and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly come again!
