Filips Palace Luxurious Apartment

Great apartment in the heart of the city. We had reservations for dinner every night but we decided to cancel on our second night so we could eat-in and enjoy the apartment. We opened all the windows, looked out on the square, while listening to the church bells toll. One thing to consider is that it is a four story walk up, so there are a lot of steps if that is a concern for you.

Well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to spread out. The only improvement would be a few closets or at least a suitcase rack so we aren’t getting everything off the floor.

This was a gorgeous property in the HEART of Ljubjana. The location could not be better for getting a feel of old town. The view, location, and amenities were wonderful. Also, we were there during a hot spell, an the AC in the apartment was a welcomed relief when we came home from sightseeing. Nik was very responsive to questions and needs and was easy to work with. We will be back!

This is a great choice in a historical building that combines an old luxury palace design with modern updates and conveniences. The location is absolutely perfect - with a view overlooking the river and one of the main squares in town. Most everything you will want to do is within easy walking distance. The host was easy to work with, communicative, and very helpful. Someone was waiting for us at arrival time I provided and check-in was simple.

A group of childhood friends (70th BD) from North America gathered in Ljubljana for a trip through Slovenia. The apartment was everything we expected and wanted. In old town, walking everywhere-accessible to all activities.

We had a GREAT experience. My husband and our 2 daughters (20 and 30) spent 2 nights in this beautiful apartment. The views were incredible and it had everything we needed. Two things to keep in mind (neither of which were a problem for us): first, the apartment is located on an incredible pedestrian street but that means that cars cannot drop off at the door. We had to walk a couple of blocks with our luggage which was okay with us but wouldn't be good for people who have a lot of bags or mobility issues. There are little electric vehicles which I believe can be called to bring people to the places on the pedestrian streets so that's an option to look into. The second thing is that apartment is on the top floor of a building without elevators. It was very challenging to carry the bags upstairs for us (we are reasonably fit) but we didn't mind...it was worth it. But those stairs must be tackled every time you want to enter the apartment. Again, for someone with mobility issues or an elderly person, this would not be a good fit. I mention these NOT as critiques of the apartment at all...we loved it! Only that I don't recall seeing any mention of this in the description so should we have had those kinds of challenges we would have been in big trouble. I highly recommend this incredible apartment, overlooking the BEST location in the city. Surrounded by vibrant activity of restaurants, cafes, shops, and the river.
