Located in the heart of Horseshoe Bay village, Ferry Walk House is minutes away from shops, restaurants, coffee shops, a waterfront park and a marina with boat rentals and “sea-safari” tours. Express transit takes 30 minutes to Vancouver. Enjoy hiking, golf, parks, beaches, ferries, snow activates and much more.

Ferry Walk House is family and pet friendly. Come and relax in a spacious, air-conditioned garden suite that includes outside dining and barbeque. Guests needingto work remotely have a desk and an excellent wifi connection. The accommodation is self-contained with private entrance and off-street parking.

The 2nd bedroom is available when the booking is for more than two guests. This bedroom is separated by an inner door and it includes a full-size desk, TV and a large picture window overlooking a tranquil English garden. If 2 guests require both bedrooms, please make the booking for 3 people to activate the extra room charge.

The fully equipped kitchen includes tea, coffee, seasonings etc. Laundry products are included for the in-suite washer and dryer. Both queen size beds have high quality mattresses. Bathrobes, beach towels and hair dryers are provided.

About the Owner:
I am a grandmother, originally from the UK and still retain the accent and British sense of humour! I live on the main floor above the suite. While I completely respect the privacy of my guests, I am always happy to answer questions or help with directions. I have books and toys for small children, plus some baby equipment. For your furry family member, the patio garden is “escape-proof”. I warmly invite you to come to stay at Ferry Walk House and enjoy life in Horseshoe Bay village.

Special Note:
Professional cleaners carry out thorough cleaning and disinfecting. Bed linens and towels are washed on sanitize. Guest departures and arrivals are spaced 2 days apart.

    A home from home, a very comfortable property matched by a great host. Perfect location to explore the islands and park walks, downtown easily reachable with regular bus services-the scenic or express. Definitely a great location to stay if visiting Vancouver.

    Great spot! Perfect location, easy travel to downtown Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler, and a quick walk to the ferry. Another great perk is the free parking. Has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

    We stayed for 9 days in this wonderful home in idyllic Horseshoe Bay. Everything about the home and Valerie’s very personal touch and hospitality is top notch. The location is convenient for restaurants, Nanaimo ferry trips, Squamish, and nearby Whytcliffe Park. It was warm for a few days, but having AC at the home is a much appreciated luxury. West Vancouver and Vancouver are worth the short car treks. Would highly recommend Ferry Walk House.

    A friend and I stayed at the Ferry House for 8 days in late June and early July. It was exactly as depicted in the listing and Valerie' was a delightful host. She was not at all intrusive, but checked in periodically to see if we needed anything, and was very responsive when we did have a question. The proximity to multiple ferries ( literally 5 minute walk) was a great asset, allowing exploration of areas that were not reachable by car. Vancouver is 20 minutes away, and staying in Horseshoe Bay enabled us to avoid the traffic jams of the city as well as enjoy the quaint seaside village. The private lush garden of Ferry House was one of my most favorite things, allowing us to sit outside most nights with daylight to almost 10. This was our first visit to the area and Ferry House was 5 stars all around. We would absolutely stay here again.

    Horseshoe Bay is delightful and gorgeous! This house is close to everything and just steps from the ferry. The Sea safari was spectacular, saw humpback whales! Don’t miss Bowen Island great food at Doc Morgans. A great place to stay!!!

    We stayed at the Ferry Walk House for one month while we transitioned to a permanent apartment. This place is awesome! It’s clean and has everything you need to make it home away from home. It’s a 1-2 minute walk to the ferry. There are some restaurants and shops nearby. Easy access to the freeway if you need to go to the city or drive up the mountain. If you bring your four legged family member there is a trail close by (about 200 ft). Your host, Valerie, is a phone call or text away and very responsive to whatever you need. She greeted us on arrival and was there to bid us farewell. All in all I’d say this place is great as a home base for staying in Vancouver.

    This was the perfect location for our week in Vancouver. Close to everything we wanted to do. Whistler, Squamish, Capilano, Bowen Island ferry, and into Vancouver. We caught the express bus into downtown.. so convenient. The walk to the waterfront and cafes in Horseshoe Bay was literally 2 mins! So close to everything. Valerie was a wonderful host and the apartment was very nice and comfortable. The little touches were much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this rental! It was pleasure to meet you Valerie and hope to visit again.
