Stayed Dec 4, 2025The house #20 is off the mail road thru the village, it is down a 100 foot driveway. We arrived in the evening so it was dark. I highly recommend a daylight arrival. The house was wonderful and we had everything we needed. The house was spotless. They are pet friendly there. They also have recycling bins behind the hedges in the parking area, the owner was very gracious and showed us around her yard and gardens. We picked this place because it was centrally located to all the places we wanted to go. Oh there is a great pizza place just down the hill from the property. This was a wonderful stay that we enjoyed very much.

Stayed Aug 23, 2019Extremely romantic and peaceful apt. clean and with very comfortable beds. Sabine is very friendly and helpful. The proximity to Munich and the lake itself makes this beautiful apartment and its' gardens a place I wish I spent longer.

Stayed Mar 30, 2018We stayed in this home over Easter in 2018, and Diessen was a beautiful Bavarian town with scenic views of the lake and the nearby alps. Sabine was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and we enjoyed the view of her lovely gardens and watched the activity of her chickens. She kindly made reservations for us at her favorite nearby restaurant so we would have somewhere to eat when we arrived on Good Friday. I had a little trouble understanding the layout in advance of renting, so in the hopes of helping fellow English-speaking travelers here it is: you walk through the front door into a combo dining/kitchen area, and off to the left is a front sitting area with a single bed (that I believe can pull out to a double if needed) and a bathroom. After taking the spiral staircase to the second floor you are in a quaint lounge area with a couch, tv, and door to shared bathroom. On each end is a bedroom (one larger, one smaller) with a double bed.
