Stayed Sep 23, 2024What a cool spot to explore Takayama from - it's less than a minute's walk from Takayama Station and the communication from the host made it super easy to get into and get settled. Once you're ready to venture out, everything in Takayama is within 10-20 minutes of walking, from the castle ruins to Dokonaru Yokocho, it's all right out the front door. The best part for us was that it's located above a coffee shop, which was our first stop every morning! We enjoyed the simplicity and cleanliness of the property - our kiddo loved the loft bed - and would highly recommend it as a great base for exploring this beautiful city.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The room is maybe smaller than you might anticipate, however, that wasn't an issue for our group as we primarily used the room to sleep.
