My reservations i made for parking were not kept, even after i paid and reserved a week in advance. The properties tv didn’t work, the water temperature didn’t work for the first two days at the property itself was surrounded by homeless people. It was a very unpleasant stay and i will not be coming back. This is the first bad review i’ve ever left, this was a horrible stay and made doing my work pretty difficult in the area.

This property shouldn't be listed on Expedia. There was no front desk. The contract sent the morning of the reservation stated in small print that you couldn't arrive before 4:00 p.m. Homeless sleep on both sides of the sketchy, unmarked entrance on a side street. Broken bottles are all over the sidewalk. Construction noise starts at 7:00 a.m. The fold-out sofa is broken and unusable. There are MANY other and better options in San Diego. Photos on Expedia do not represent this property.

Nice clean apartment, well eqipped, central location and walkable. A very comfortable bed. Some noise from the streets and a bit dark in the streets at night. Overall i enjoyed my stay.

I chose this location to be downtown. The unit was nice enough. Kitchen is not nicely stocked & is cheap stuff. The neighbor noise was nonstop. Homeless people camp out right outside the entry/exit door. Parking lot wasn't easy to figure out the key. The auto light switch in the bathroom was a pain. Entry area smelled of trash and the stairwell had a moldy smell to it. The bed was too firm for both of us. The couch was comfortable, and the water filter pitcher in the fridge was nice. I have stayed at several VRBO units downtown. This was my least favorite of all of them. Sam, Jay, and Kat were quick to answer all my questions so that was helpful.

I will start by saying the property was very cute inside, and had everything I needed for my stay. Unfortunately the location and outside area, is less than ideal. When I pulled up there were multiple people camped out and pacing the area directly in front of the entrance. I sat inside my car and reached out to the owners/managers. I told them I didn’t feel safe being alone and trying to enter the building with all my stuff. They responded quickly stating that no refund would be issued if I decided not to stay and I should’ve picked a property outside of the city if I was worried about this issue. I decided to give it a try not wanting to lose the amount I’d paid and having to pay again elsewhere. The unit inside was nice and had everything I needed. Only complaint was shower was in need of some attention around the tile and floor area. I only left the apartment for classes and never went out when it was dark, and waited to run til it was fully light outside. There were normally transients outside the door every morning upon leaving and sometimes in the afternoon upon arrival. Parking option was a few blocks away. The key card and fob was not where it was supposed to be when I arrived there, so that was a little frustrating but was remedied the same evening by owners/managers. If this property was in a different area it would’ve been ideal, just didn’t feel great staying there alone as a woman.

I stayed at this property for 4 nights while attending a conference at the San Diego Convention Center. The unit was lovely- clean, and tastefully decorated, the bed is comfortable and it was stocked with everything you could need. In an easy location to walk to the Convention Center / waterfront and just a few blocks off Gaslamp Quarter with restaurants and nightlife. As noted in the ad, there is a significant presence of unhoused individuals in the area; I had no issues walking around in the daytime. I would use caution walking around alone after dark, or consider using Uber.

Very easy to get to/ from airport. Bus #992 Picks up at baggage claim area and stops 2 blks away from apartment. Easy breazy check-in. Very clean, and one of the most comfortable beds ever! Few blocks from the bustling Gas Lamp district with great restaurants.

The place is in a good central location for walking to city center of downtown, not far from the Petco Park and Gaslamp district. Also, to bars, restaurants and Krisp Grocery store. It would be nice to have some ability to have local channels, when I'm in a different city I like to see/hear the local news and what's going on in the community.

I was attending a conference in the area and this made for a great central location next to the meeting place and lots of food options. The hosts were very helpful and communicated quickly. The place was clean and comfortable. This was just what I needed for a quick 2 day trip.
