Extremely Luxurious Beach Getaway - 2blks to beach

There are not enough words to adequately express how happy we were with this rental! We booked this unit, along with a 1-bedroom unit in the same building, to accommodate our extended family for a trip to Redondo Beach/Torrance to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday with other family members.The host was exceptionally responsive, and even arranged for a personalized (and delicious) King's Hawaiian birthday cake to greet us upon arrival. The units were spotless, and equipped with more cooking utensils and spices than I've seen in any past rentals. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and the motorized blinds and fans provided customized lighting and ventilation for every preference.The spacious kitchen and living area, along with the comfortable private outdoor patio, allowed family members to gather for memorable conversations and food Our 11-year-old granddaughter loved the variety of sports equipment. She loved challenging relatives to volleyball games on the beach.Having grown up in the area, we knew that Riviera Village and the nearby beaches would provide many entertainment and culinary options for our diverse family. It did not disappoint! We loved Riviera Mexican Grill, Good Stuff, Hennessey's Tavern, Salt and Pearl, and HT Grill. It was so wonderful to be able to easily walk to the beach or meals without the worry of finding parking. Walkable grocery store options include Trader Joe's (with a terrific staff) and Von's.We'd love to return!

Let me start by saying Bic, the property manager, is amazing to work with! The property itself far exceeded our expectations! The inside of the house was beautiful, comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. However, our favorite was the outdoor area with the comfortable seating and fire pit to gather around in the evenings! The area the property was located in was perfect. It was walking distance to the beach (2 blocks ) grocery store (across the street) and several great restaurants nearby. We are so hoping we have another opportunity to visit and are able to stay at this property!!!

I left a long Summary for the Host

It is very clear that someone spent a lot of time and effort generously equipping this Riviera Village home and providing careful written instructions and thoughtful recommendations. Despite another renter checking out on the day we checked in, the unit was ready at the promised time. And some of us arrived a bit earlier and were able to safely stash luggage while the cleaners finished. The location is wonderful; close to the beach, several grocery stores, fun shopping and a myriad of restaurants (we especially liked Good Stuff for breakfast and Salt & Pearl for dinner). The unit is very clean and equipped with every imaginable need or want. To clarify, as it was a bit confusing to me, the kitchen island has a number of stools to sit in an L. There are 2 bedrooms each with a king bed, a third bedroom with 1 double sized bunk bed, and some bedding in the living room furniture. Our family consisted of 6 adults and it was very comfortable. We also appreciated the pretty holiday decorations both inside and out. I would recommend this unit for a short or long term stay.

We were extremely impressed by this rental in Redondo Beach. Beautifully renovated and furnished. Extremely well stocked- kitchen has everything you would need to cook, bake, serve, season. Bathrooms were stocked with anything you might have forgotten- soaps, extra toothbrushes, cotton, swabs, etc. Charging cables everywhere. Has games, bikes, stuff for the beach. Cool outdoor area to hang at. Great location, one block To the beach and in the Riviera Village neighborhood- tons of great restaurants to eat at, grocery stores, clothing boutiques. Owner is very responsive. Owner went well out of her way to help us after we needed to cancel a trip a few months prior, she commuted to VRBO on our behalf, and saved us a bunch of money! She's good people! This would be a great rental for families too!

A group of friends stayed together for a long weekend. The house was perfect for our needs. Comfortable indoors and a great outdoor space. The location was perfect - walked to the beach, close to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. The host was very easy to communicate with and the property was clean and fresh. One person forgot their personal products and the host provided toothbrushes, tooth paste, sunscreen, etc. The pantry had all the spices and the coffee was fabulous. The host thought of all our needs. Would love to stay there again.

Super responsive and helpful host, amazing location, and the host has thought of everything anyone could possibly need in a vacation rental.

This unit was exactly as described and was extremely well-stocked and comfortable. We were very pleased with the supply of beach towels, beach chairs, wagons, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. All items were in good condition and of high quality. There were numerous kitchen items, spices, coffee, etc. Plenty of blankets and towels. There are so many extra perks that make this unit desirable. The hot water and water pressure were excellent. We actually spent more time at the unit than we had originally planned as it was so comfortable and convenient. We had three teens in the bunk room and space was tight in that room, but still plenty of room in the unit to spread out. We greatly enjoyed the outdoor area with firepit and amenities. Communication with the manager was great. We were forewarned that previous tenants had issues with the neighbors. We made the effort to be extra polite and respectful when entering/leaving the unit and in the common areas. We had no issues with neighbors and even one neighbor (a woman w/ small dog) was quite pleasant to talk with when encountered. The unit location was superb. Easy walking to restaurants, bars, shopping, groceries, and the beach. Easy access to PCH to travel elsewhere. I would not hesitate to rebook this property or recommend it to others.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property. Stayed in a larger unit this time since there were 4 of us. The unit it beautiful. Clean, updated with everything you need. Perfect location. Walking distance to the beach and riviera village. Bikes and beach gear available which was great. Love staying here on my visits to redondo beach to see my daughter. Only complaint is that my son was unable to access baseball games on television.
