Very nice host! We were able to book this vrbo just days before Cubs game. The only thing that make it better would be a won game!

Public transportation was easy. Neighborhood was safe. Owner was super nice and helpful. Super close to walk to many shops, restaurants, grocery stores. Great place!

The stay was great! The host was very responsive both prior to arriving and while we were there. It was easy to get around whether walking, driving, or taking the train. The explanation of the parking felt a little misleading. There isn’t a dedicated space - the parking is street parallel parking. It took a bit of time circling the nearby blocks to find a spot when we arrived in the evening on a weeknight. After that (on the weekend) we didn’t have any trouble finding a space. There is a lot of free parking around but some sides of streets are permit only - sounds like the host can get you a pass but we didn’t end up having to do that so I don’t know the specifics.

Stayed two nights with my daughter. Ricky is a tremendous host: communicates well, accurate description of property, and great location. 5-star stay! Highly recommend booking if you are staying in the Chicago area.

Host was absolutely great/kind and had amazing communication! The place was exactly like the pictures, great location and parking was so easy! We LOVED the kitchen as we were able to cook as much as we wanted, as they had all the cookware and dishes needed. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

This was the perfect pet friendly apartement for our family to spend Christmas. We were visitng relatives and wanted to have a place of our own while in town. We were walking distance of many great restaurants, coffee shops. The layout is perfect with 2 seperate bedrooms and a large kitchen and living room. The host is also very friendly and welcoming. It was so easy to walk our dog right out the front door. It is located in a very nice neighborhood. We had a great stay and would definitely book this place again.

The location was very convenient. We attended the Michigan/Northwestern game at Wrigley Field and the house was within walking distance to the stadium.

What a wonderful weekend we had. This property is located is a quiet, beautiful neighbor and close to anything you could want to do in the Chicago area. The host was more than welcoming and the property was clean and well maintained. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Good location & proximity to public transit

Ricky was amazing from start to finish! We were in Chicago to do college tours with our daughter, and the location was perfect - close to a train station too, which allowed us to easily see downtown without the hassle of parking once those tours were finished. We loved the neighborhood of North Center - lots of restaurants! Ricky even provided a curated list of options for us. The best review I can leave is this anecdote… when Ricky checked in with us and asked about the beds and bedding, our teenager said she liked her bed better than the one she has at home. That says a lot coming from a teen!

Super clean, very friendly host and he was super helpful for anything we needed! Location was close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Only thing that was a shock was that it was the basement of the main house, it was not a problem but was a little confusing at first. Over all LOVED this place and the kids wanted to stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a nice neighborhood that felt safe and well maintained. Ricky was a very kind and thoughtful host, and he made sure we had no trouble getting in and out. The lock takes a little getting used to, but he checked in to be sure we were all set.The living room was one of our favorite spots. The sectional couch and TV made it easy to relax at the end of a busy day. The kitchen and bathroom have been modernized nicely, while the original woodwork and floors give the place some old Chicago charm.We’re grateful for the hospitality and the comfortable place to call home during our time in Chicago.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The home was beautiful, clean, and had everything we could possibly need for a perfect vacation. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. A special shout-out to the little one who seemed to have everything perfectly organized—she clearly runs a tight ship! If ever in the neighborhood again, we're coming back!

We had a great weekend! Rick’s place was a big part of what made the weekend so special the location comfort space and cleanliness made our whole experience great. It was easy to come and go, it was a busy weekend but staying here was stress free. we felt at home!Lovely block and neighborhood great restaurants. Very walkable and convenient. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Chicago. The property was easy to get to and very comfortable and clean, and the host was fantastic. I will definitely be renting this place again if I am in the area.

The property was nice. Easy to get to. Fun play sets for little kids. Only issue we had was the toilet kept running if you didn’t pay attention to it if you didn’t push up the handle and water flowing out of shower because of the small glass door. No garbage bags found anywhere to replace the only used one we had.

We needed a quick stay for our day up north. This location was around the corner from Malt Row, so close to a few different breweries. Great little getaway for the night. Owner was very responsive and accommodating when we were having some trouble with the digital entry lock.

The property was perfect for a short stay (we were just there for one night). Location is a short walk to Wrigley Field so perfect if you plan to catch a Cubs game. The photos in the listing are accurate but it gives the impression that you have the whole house that is shown but the accommodations are in the basement so it isn't very bright. The host was great.

What a cosy quaint place! Everyone was friendly.

The property is very quiet, clean, well appointed, and is in a great location. It’s only a 3 minute walk to the Brown Line which easily gets you downtown in half an hour and not worry about parking. I did notice the absence of a microwave which would have been an added convenience. Overall, it suited my needs perfectly and will consider it again if I get back to Chicago.

My wife and I were attending a show and stayed for a night. It's fairly close to the Aragon Ballroom and has lots of dining options nearby. The host was attentive and easy to reach. He even shoveled the snow at 11pm; as it had snowed during the show and when it was over several inches had fallen. Well done sir, cleanest walk in the neighborhood.Everything in the apartment was clean and comfortable.

One of the most beautiful rentals I've stayed in. Also, when there was a hiccup in the booking process, the owner communicated directly with me right away, coming to a solution that made everyone happy. A very lovely experience all around.
