Exclusive Apt in Shaw-Outdoor Patio & Great Location

We recently stayed in this apartment for a few days while visiting Washington, D.C. It was perfect for our family of five. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and had just enough space for everyone to be comfortable without feeling cramped. What really made this place shine was the location. The neighborhood was fantastic - safe, walkable, and charming. The proximity to several restaurants made meal times much more convenient. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!

The property was as described and pictured. Convenient location for attending a conference downtown! The apartment was clean and cozy, and more spacious than I anticipated! Easy communication and check-in/check-out process. As noted in the listing, there is some level of noise from footsteps/conversations in the unit above--just something to plan for if you are a light sleeper/sensitive to that kind of environment.

The apartment was adequate for our needs. It was about a 15 minute walk to the nearest subway station. There were portions of the neighborhood that were sketchy. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. A king size bed for my wife and I, pull out full-size for my son. The 2nd sofa is not a pull out. Make arrangements if a 3rd bed is needed. Overall decent stay.

The basement unit is exactly as described and photographed. It is in a great neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our family fit perfectly in this cute apartment, with everything we needed and close to restaurants. We spent three days exploring museums and the capital. Street parking is available and our hosts were super helpful. We’d love to come back.

Overall a nice stay. Description of the property was accurate. It Had everything we needed and was close to all the historic sites. On the downside, WiFi service was poor. Had to use cellular network for our devices while in the apartment. Also not sure why there's no TV in the master bedroom

This is a lovely home, exactly where we needed to be! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet with plenty of available parking. The host/ management team was on top of every question I had. The home itself is exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable and the optional second bedroom was a game changer! Clean, well maintained- you won’t go wrong renting this home!

We enjoyed our stay in DC. The property was lovely, just as described! We enjoyed walking to the local cafe/bar for during our stay. Highly recommend and would stay again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was the perfect place to rest and recover from our days of sightseeing. We had a car so we drive to the mall each day and it was only about 15 minutes. Parking was very convenient at the apartment. We never had an issue finding a nearby spot. Master bed was very comfy and the rest of the sleep arrangements worked for our kids. Kitchen was stocked with supplies which was helpful. Lara was very helpful and communicative from booking to check-out. We would stay here again and will recommend to friends as well.

We loved staying here. The place was clean and the owner was responsive. Internet could have been better. Outside of that would recommend. If y’all are ever in central Texas we have a country house we would love to host you too. Ray Moore

My teenage sons had room to relax and chill - and I did as well. The (manageable) cons are that the water pressure is low and it was too far (IMO) for us to walk to the Metro (Uber). Pros include good local food, a relatively quiet neighborhood, and a home-like atmosphere to return to after a long day of sightseeing. This was the best vacation we've had and I'm so grateful to have had a VRBO that helped us make these great memories of our stay in Washington DC.

When we arrived, the apartment was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. We were 4 adults and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable, and the kitchen was great! Overall, we had a fantastic experience! The only very minor comment we have is that when we arrived, it was dark outside and it was extremely hard to find the apartment number. (It was above the entrance). If there's any way to illuminate the number, that would make it much easier to find. The entrance is small, so it wasn't obvious from the street. Other than that, we were extremely happy with our stay!

Loved our stay, very communicative, with lots information about where to go for food, popular spots and transportation. Safe neighborhood to walk around with many places to grab food . Short drive to many of the monuments and museums.

This property is a real gem located in a convenient and lively neighborhood in DC. Clean, beautifully appointed and quite spacious, this basement apartment had everything our family of 4 adults could want. The pull out sofa and convertible beanbag bed offer versatile sleeping arrangements which are hard to find in many properties. The hosts were extremely responsive and great to work with. Overall an excellent choice for a visit to Washington.
