Good view of beach , nice location

Directly across the street from Tidal Raves restaurant which is spectacular and easy walk to all of the town. Ocean view is awesome. Owner was very responsive when we couldn’t figure out the TV the first afternoon and made sure it was working when we got back from a day trip the following afternoon. Too much “stuff” (decorations & knick-knacks) for my personal taste. But I’m a minimalist so your mileage may vary! Windows facing the ocean didn’t open so we had to open the front door to hear the waves and get a cross breeze, but there was no screen door so we didn’t leave it open. We book ocean front exclusively to be able to hear the waves and get the cross breeze so that was disappointing.

Great property for a weekend getaway! The space is well planned for spending time indoors with a great view of the waves on the rocks. Outside is an enclosed patio with a large window making visiting outside cozy without losing the view. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely book again!

It's a nice little apartment with a good view. Right between Newport and Lincoln city.

We were here fore our 21st anniversary weekend. Had such a wonderful weekend. Felt like we were at home here. Had everything we needed and close to everything. Comfortable chair and couch, dining table in front of windows so you really had a view from every seat. Loved the fireplace too! Plus the private patio is a great little getaway from the wind and rain and still be outdoors. Do recommend taking a spider stick as the little boogers like to come back quick. LOL We decided to hike down to the beach on the rope trail. We made it...not bad for 63 and 57yo! LOL Recommend The Horn for food. Tidal Raves is great, but a bit over priced but very convenient across the street. The Horn is a nice walk through town by the bridge. We had a great view of the ocean. Very close to a couple parks and of course the spouting horn is just down the street. Highly recommend this place. You will have a great time.

What a wonderful, cute rental! We were so surprised how big it was. It has a great view of the waves crashing on the rocks. We parked and never moved our car the weekend we stayed here. We walked to restaurants and yo watch the spouting horn. Pretty much everything you need is here. Walt was amazing and so helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and warm…very comfortable! Felt like I was staying in my grandparents guest house.

Nice apartment. we had to leave ezrly becauuse if fires. Would have beennice to get a credit for 2 days we couldn't be there. Bug its ok

This place was not clean at all!!! Dirty walls, refrigerator, microwave! Mattress was fine but bed frame was so squeaky we couldn’t sleep. The end table was only half dusted. Will never stay there again

We saw Whale sprouts from the table, the property man, Shane, was great. We ate at three restaurants that we walked to. We came to see Whales, mission accomplished.Loved the apartment and town of DEPOE.

The apartment was in a great location and just a quick walk to the strip in Depoe Bay. Our only complaint was we could smell cigarette if we ran the bathroom fan and the smell of pot was overwhelming at night in bedroom. We understand in Oregon it is legal, but do not enjoy the smell at all. No windows or doors were open as it is winter so not sure why the smell would come so strong into the bedroom. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

The view was the best thing about it. The daylight basement apartment set my allergies going the moment we walked through the door. The place was full of clutter and Knick knacks, blankets and pillows everywhere. Despite this we were enjoying the great view and interesting photos on the walls while doing what we went to the beach to do. The person who let us in was very kind and responsive. Thursday evening he gave my husband permission to use the hose bib to wash his boat motors. The next morning I found a voice mail from Walt, who was not the person who gave permission for the water use. Walt left a very grumpy message about NOT using the water and how much money it's costing him. This pretty much spoiled the weekend for me. He was obviously keeping an eye on our every move and didn't check in with his manager before leaving the message. I was also shocked when their directions for taking our leave of the place included vacuuming and cleaning to leave the place as we found it, this despite the fact that we paid for a cleaning service via our VRBO reservation. I won't be returning to this location.

Great place.

We lived our time in Depoe Bay! This was very close to ocean beautiful view. I however booked this 2/3 months in advance for an extended stay with my husband as this was our vacation. So property owners were aware of the length of stay ( 9 days) when arrived everything looked good.. upon further inspection we noticed that there was no broom ( and when asked caretaker for one he simply said we have the bottoms but no handles). Part of the toaster didn’t work, no proper utensils, only 1 big pot to cook in, 1 coffee filter, no extra paper towels etc, we’ve been to enough vrbos to know that yes sometimes they are short on somethings, but not like this, so we had to buy quite a bit to just fuction for 9 days. The fridge was dirty, the house its self was dirty ( cobwebs every where you turned). Ants were a problem from the beginning but chalked it off due to being so close to the ocean etc… but then they were crawling on myself and husband on the couch etc.. we ended up leaving 2 days early ( lost over 300.00 because of that) when messaged the owner told him why we left, he said we should have told caretaker… we did.. I offered some advice for the next couple who stays there and what should be there, I didn’t expect anything back ( meaning money etc..) what I got back was you used cologne and now I don’t know how to get it out? We didn’t use anything except what was provided for cleaning and using spray in the restroom. He has continued to harass me about this. Do not recommend

Beautiful location overlooking the bay. Nice walk to town, the Whale Watching Center and viewpoints along the ocean front.

We enjoyed our stay. I felt like we stayed at an uncle's house. It was our first Vrbo stay and we were happy.

It smelled like someone smokes week in the neighborhood!!! Great location easy walk to town and restaurants!! I was surprised how quiet it was being so close to Hwy 101!! The covered outdoor was cute but too many cobwebs for me to sit out there.

the view, the view, the view. I spent hours just looking out the window and loving what I saw. Hope to be back some day.

The property was fairly easy to find, passed it the first drive by because the buildings are all so close to each other. There were a lot of homey things to choose from while relaxing after a long day of sight seeing; books, music, tv with DVD's. The couch though was VERY uncomfortable, after an hour or so my butt hurt like crazy. The bed was amazingly comfortable tho. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked and expected and then they expected you to do the end of stay housekeeping; sweeping, mopping, cleaning shower, bathroom, stripping the beds, etc. I paid for a host fee and a nightly fee to stay there, I don't expect to have to clean the house, they should have someone to do this. Overall, we had a great time seeing the ocean for the first time. Thank you.

I’ll start by saying this is my husband and mine’s second time staying here but first time in the lower unit. A few years back, we stayed in the larger upper unit and really enjoyed our stay. It’s an older place but everything was clean and well-maintained. I wish I could say the same for our visit this time in the downstairs unit. I’ll just go with pros and cons and let you make your own decisions. Pros: 1. The property is in a great location and is walkable. 2. The price is very affordable. (Book somewhere else in advance and it’ll be nicer.) 3. It has everything you need but nothing more. 4. Shower head is tall and has good pressure. 5. Quiet. Most of the area is though. 6. Windows in the bedroom open to keep it cool for sleeping. Cons: We didn’t reach out to the host for any issues. There were several and we just decided to not spend our vacation time contacting the host with multiple issues. 1. The main living space has a great view but gets very warm. (Stayed in August) There are many windows but nothing opens! 2. Killed multiple spiders and there were ants all over. 3. The outdoor patio is adorable but is covered in webs and the spiders to go with them. 4. The house wasn’t clean. I’m the clean freak and my husband said something first. I had to wipe down the bathroom before we could use it. We wore socks always as things stuck to our feet otherwise. This was definitely the worst part. Cleanliness would go a long ways everywhere here and eliminate the pests.

Have stayed here numerous times. Love the quaint and feeling of being home. Close to numerous shops and restaurants. Will stay agai

We've stayed at this property and the 3 br unit on the upper floor several times before, and, as usual, the unit was clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. If we needed anything all we had to do is let Walt know and he would take care if it quickly. Great view of the bay and the best restaurant for miles is directly across the street. recommend this and the upper unit to anyone.
