Entire Guest Suite in Haus Edelweiss on the Blue Ridge Parkway

A Home Away From Home We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Edelweiss. It seemed like all our needs and wants were anticipated and when we needed something the owner was there in minutes to help us out. The apartment was clean and well provisioned. The view of the mountains was breathtaking. We are planning to staying here anytime we are visiting Little Switzerland.

Wonderful stay. Will come again.

Beautiful private suite!!

Little Switzerland fiasco. DID NOT SAY THERE!! Arrived at 2:45 PM - no one home and no directions on how to access property. Contacted Expedia using their virtual assistant explained the situation and after 30 minutes of back and forth texts referred me to an agent . The phone signal was weak but was able to first speak to Mustafa who set up a case number - 117168824. Unfortunately loss the signal and called back a second time and spoke to Jesus. At this point we had been waiting for over one hour outside the property with bugs all around us. This was suppose to be our 3 day stay to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Explained everything to Jesus and told him that we had been waiting over one hour and that we had ENOUGH. We decided to return home. He said he would try to contact the host and to give him a few more minutes - after another 10 minutes he came on the line and said no one picked up the phone. I this point we started driving home. We were in conversation with Jesus who stated that he would process a cancelation and full refund. He also offered us a free night stay for our troubles. I was hesitant as we had decided to head home but told him to try - at this point we received a text at 4:12 PM from the host providing us with access instructions to the properly. Her text stated that we should have received access instructions from VRBO two days ago and she does not know why they were not sent??? We texted her back that it was too late and heading home

Beautiful views and area. Place was exactly as pictures described. Nice homemade listing of local attractions and a few bonus snacks that were a nice addition. A little hard to find at night, so get there while the suns still up haha.

This was a lovely little gem in the mountains! The place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Beautiful views from the deck and very close to downtown.

I had an excellent two-night stay recently. This little apartment is a gem, with everything you need. The owners were very personable and helpful but not overbearing at all. They are also very thoughtful, with lots of goodies in the fridge for free. There's not a lot in Little Switzerland, but all is in easy walking distance, as is a great hike to Grassy Creek Falls. And access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is literally a one to two minute drive.

The guest suite was clean, quiet with a great view.

I loved the location of the property and the privacy. The grounds were beautiful and there is a very private back deck which was perfect for star-gazing! I even saw a meteor :) The host was a great communicator and I enjoyed my stay so much that I will be back.

We had everything we needed plus some nice little extra touches. The location was ideal and the sunrises superb!

Words cannot convey how wonderful it was to get away to Haus Edelweiss for our anniversary. If you're looking for a peaceful, serene environment, this is the place! Judith and Mike are terrific hosts.

We needed a last minute booking as we were coming down to volunteer with hurricane relief and hadn't found lodging yet. Judith responded right away and allowed to us to book on juat a few hours notice. The guest house was cute and cozy, with so many extras (snacks, drinks, detergent, etc.). Even though the suite was attached to the owners house, it felt private and quiet. We had a great stay and would absolutley cone back!

My husband and I had a wonderful time in Little Switzerland. Judith and Mike are terrific hosts. They are friendly and kind.

We (me, husband and 10 yr old) stayed for 3 days for my husband's birthday. This little rental was perfect! It was clean and welcoming. There were extra amenities like snacks, toiletries and other items we've normally always brought ourselves to rentals. You were within walking distance of 2 restaurant, a coffee shop/book store and a few other kitche shops. It was a great location to stay!
