Karen is a wonderful host and the blueberry pie was delicious. We stayed in the comfortable studio with our dog and enjoyed the peaceful setting in the woods with trails to nearby campsites and a frog pond and field that was perfect for stargazing. The property is in close proximity to all area attractions but remote enough that we felt we were in our own private woodland. We also appreciated the separate recycling can and the compost bucket that was provided.
This was our second stay in 3 months. The space is quiet and lovely. The owner, Karen is so kind and welcoming. Just a great place to center yourself. Plenty of great places to dine too!
This is a really nice property and Karen was a great host. The space is decorated with care and felt homey. It was so nice to sleep and be able to hear the nightly chorus of nature. We definitely recommend if you're looking for quiet and a chance to slow down.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we found it difficult to leave! Karen’s property is beautiful, peaceful and filled quirky touches. The bed in the Red Spirit studio is incredibly comfortable and the studio itself is just perfect for a couple. Shopping, dining etc…is a 10-15 minute drive away. We cannot wait to go back and spend more time at Karen’s property. Highly recommend Karen’s homemade fruit pies! Thank you Karen for your hospitality and the wonderful morning chats!
Generous and welcoming host, and a sweet RV with a great pond view! Quick drive into town. I had a great time, thank you Karen!
This cozy camper and it's surroundings was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, as well as a lovely setting for a small socially distanced family gathering, when my family got together for an afternoon potluck. Its location is tucked away from the bustle and crowds, but close to Hutchins Lake, Evergreen Lane Creamery, as well as several farm stands and wineries. This was a perfect place to introduce our two-year-old to frogs and fishing and to explore the wooded trails. Seeing the stars so bright in the night sky was a treat for this city dweller. Karen is a warm and welcoming host, an outstanding pie baker, and she made the visit a delight. Members of our family have already booked a Fall visit. We will be back!
5 minutes away from Lake Michigan and many places to watch the sunset. This camper was so peaceful and comfortable. It had everything inside of it to make it our HOME for the weekend and the shower was amazing! From waking up to the pond to watching the stars at night. There is a nice bond fire area. The host was amazing and very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely be back!
