Empire State Two Bedroom Penthouse

I stayed here for a weekend trip with some friends for my birthday. It’s a great central location for activities around the city and was spacious considering the location. It was also safe and quiet. There was a lot of linen available and all appliances worked well. The most difficult thing was figuring out how to use the door key which probably was more so user error than anything else!

Our family of 5 had the best time! Loved the apartment, views and location. The apartment made our trip to NYC extra great! Excellent!!

We stayed here as a family of four and had a comfortable time. The location is excellent—very close to the subway, with a convenience store right downstairs. We were able to walk to Times Square, the Flatiron Building, and the Empire State Building without any problems. The kitchen tools were in great condition, the beds were cozy, and there were plenty of towels provided. However, there were a couple of issues worth noting. The key was extremely difficult to use, to the point where it became frustrating. Even though the host seems to be aware of the issue, it hasn’t been fixed, which is surprising given the risk of being locked out. Switching to a keypad or smart lock would be a huge improvement. Also, when we arrived, there was a strong musty smell in the unit because the laundry had been left wet in the dryer. After contacting the host, we were told to handle it ourselves, which felt a bit dismissive and unprofessional. That said, the apartment itself is nice, the price is reasonable for the area, and the location is hard to beat. If the host becomes more responsive to guest feedback, this place could easily be a top pick.

This apartment was excellent, located in mid Manhattan, great base for getting around. Views from the apartment were stunning.Flat was clean and very well presented, beds were extremely comfortable, loads of storage space.Check in and out process was seamless.Our hosts were very helpful before and during our trip, making things so easy for us.We had an amazing time, thank you for hosting us.

Prime location in NYC! Fantastic views! Very comfortable 6 night stay for our family of 4, with 2 teenagers. Honestly, was expecting your typical cramped NYC apartment. But this was surprisingly spacious and full of light with all the windows! Painless check-in and check-out process. Easy communication with the host. Apartment was clean, just as pictured. Neighbors were quiet. Highly recommend!

Our host did an excellent job of communicating and making our check-in seamless. The apartment is well appointed and very comfortable, as well as well cleaned and prepared for visitors. The location is convenient to accessing all parts of the city. I highly recommend it.

The apartment was average. The master bedroom was missing a shade that blocks the sunrise and light. The other room had appropriate shades. There were no luggage racks for our suitcases. The couch had stains. Brian was responsive with our questions. The apartment had nice views. The beds were comfortable.

The property was well taken care of and comfortable. It is in a great location. IT was perfect for our stay in the city. The only thing that needs attention is the key to the door. It works fine when locking the door, but was very difficult to open.

This place was awesome! We had two adults and two teens in our group so having the two bedrooms and bathrooms was great. It was extremely hot in NY, but the AC made our stay really comfortable. We had everything we needed and it was a central location to get to the places we wanted to visit. I would absolutely rent here again!

The property was larger than expected and everything was very well explained and well stocked. We stayed over a very hot July week and the climate control was impeccable. Loved being able to set different rooms at different temperatures. Wonderful layout for a vacation. The rooms are away from each other and the bathrooms can be easily accessed without disturbing anyone still in bed. Ideal for different schedules among the group.

Apartment was okay. You are doing false advertising by stating it is a Penthouse apartment. There are 10 more floors above.

We had a terrific stay at this property. Great location in Manhattan; convenient to the subway. Very easy checkin/checkout process. Everyone loved the views and being on a high floor. Bedroom configurations were also perfect for a family.

Stayed with our 3 children ages 4-11 and it was spotless and quiet. Views were spectacular, beds were comfortable and I don’t think it could’ve been more perfect for our family.

Everything was as advertised except for the one toilet that was unusable for our entire stay.

This was a perfect spot to explore all of NY both on foot and by transit. Thanks for having us!

Central location close to trains, NoMad, K-Town, MSG and Chelsea. Very comfortable beds and towels. Would have expected better shampoo (they had Head & Shoulders) and a conditioner option, so not great for kids but I had brought my own. The space could have used one dresser in the double room and an over the toilet shelf to put toiletries. I felt like I had to put a lot on the floor everywhere.

The unit is AMAZING! Best views of NYC, beautiful light with all the windows, extremely clean, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and can't beat the location. Will be hard to stay anywhere else when we come back.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4 with adult children. It is large with plenty of space for quiet downtime when needed, gorgeous widows offering 180 degree views of the city, up high enough on the 28th floor (not the penthouse) that road noise isn’t an issue, incredibly well stocked kitchen, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, and ideal central location with easy access to subways. The host was proactive with check in and checkout information and quick to respond when we had questions. I really don’t know how our stay could have been better and we will definitely check availability here first for future stays.

What a great spot to see NYC from. Close to all, easy access to transit and shopping. Apartment looks exactly like the pictures and even a little nicer. Communication was easy with owner team, very flexible and able to help. I’d highly recommend this property

If you’re looking for a place right in the middle of the Manhattan that checks all the boxes this is the place. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full size living room and kitchen in a modern building with amazing views of the city. Subway is only one block away, so nice on those cold days. Very nice and safe neighborhood with tons of 4.5 rated restaurants nearby. You will be happier here than any 5 star hotel. The hosts are so accommodating and super fast to respond to any questions. I won’t stay anywhere else in the city in the future. Thank you!

Loved the location, super clean, easy check in and out. great space/size, unbelievable views! Host response was great. One note: one bedroom the heat was iffy and had to use a space heater. I think that should be mentioned in the listing, especially in January and especially if traveling with young kids. Neighborhood was great - loved Black Seed Bagel right around the corner. And Oscar Wilde is so close, a holiday must see!

This was our first trip together to NYC. The unit was very nice and all that was published except that it is not what I consider a penthouse. It was in the upper floors of the tower. The days we stayed were among the coldest in 5 years. We had trouble finding the right settings for our comfort. The BR with 2 beds never heated up. Kithchen was very well stocked.

My husband was so happy with this Vrbo choice! It was in the perfect location for us and there were some great restaurants in walking distance. The host was very responsive and check in checkout was smooth and easy. We can’t wait to go back to this spot!

This was a great property. Great communication at all points of the stay. Super clean and the view was great from all the rooms. Super quick walk to trains, Broadway shows, and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment was well beyond our expectations. The description and pictures on Vrbo could never Illustrate how spectacular the views are from this 28th floor unit.

This rental is NOTHING short of amazing, VERY spacious, well stocked, immaculate, attention to detail, fast and easy responses, and several parking garages nearby and within walking distance of the subway. We loved every minute spent here and would recommend it to anyone!

Great two bedroom apartment with tons of space and closets. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, keurig, blender, air fryer! Safe neighborhood with minimal tourists.
