Emerald Mermaid cozy studio apt private beach access including parking & shower

We had such a a wonderful stay. Everything was great. Clean, well kept. Easy to access. We met our host and he was very friendly. We were there for a girls getaway this trip, but already trying to schedule a time again for a couples trip.

The Couple that owns the Apartment were very pleasant, knowledgeable about the area .Very friendly Couple , Awesome experience all the way around.

Lovely & clean space - perfect for a couple. Easy t walk to coffee and food. The main road through Emerald Isle was very busy (we were there during the 4th of July holiday); however, once we turned onto the street where this unit is located, it felt very removed from the traffic. We loved the streets around the rental and the use of a neighborhood-only beach entrance. The outdoor shower is wonderful! (Although there is an indoor shower, too.)

This is a very nice place for 2 people (couple) very nicely done. the host were very nice would speak if we ran into them, but did not impose on our privacy. would recommend for a couple or would stay here again.

The owners were very kind and attentive! The place was cute and well-kept. Our favorite part was the private beach access, and we appreciated them sharing that with us. Overall a great visit.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beach house. This beach house is perfect for two friends. First thing we noticed was how clean the beach house was, and had a very pleasant smell. While my friend was enjoying inside showers i enjoyed the outdoor shower, and let me tell you it’s worth the hype. I love the hot water. Host Mary was really sweet. I only spoke to her through the phone. Even when I called her she was still sweet and patient. I think my favorite thing about the beach house was the beach cruiser bikes. We really enjoyed how close restaurants were (we could Bike or Walk). One thing my friend mentioned was that it would have been nice to have board games and cards but we forgot to bring them. Thanks for this incredible experience.

Unit is far nicer than advertised. I became ill due ing the stay and the owners intervened and treated us as family. Would not stay anywhere else in Emerald Island nor on the Crystal Coast

The studio had all that we needed for our stay on Emerald Isle. This was a birthday trip and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Amenities were very sufficient.

Great little getaway. Had everything we needed. Short walk to the beach. Friendly host. Our second stay there and would definitely return.

The unit was perfect. Location was close to beach, shops and restaurants. Mary was very accommodating, unit was clean and well stocked. Perfect in every way!

The 'Emerald Mermaid' was everything we expected and more. Its location is excellent, close to two major grocery stores, delicious restaurants and ice cream shops. The property is clean and beautifully furnished. You have your own gated beach access just a short two blocks away and the outdoor shower is marvelous for the return from a day at the beach. If we make another trip to the Crystal Coast, we'll definitely stay here!

Check in was easy, apartment was nice, and beach was beautiful!

Great place to stay for the week, the parking/beach access was very convenient for us. We could also walk to ice cream and dinner from the house. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We woke up a few nights due to a loud mechanical noise that came through the floorboards right near the bed but other than that the place was great for us. We would stay here again.

It was great the owners were easy to communicate with. Beautiful cute space! The neighborhood was quiet and easy access to the beach.

This apartment is perfect for a quiet beach vacation. It’s right at the end of the main part of Emerald Isle, so it’s an easy walk or bike ride for pretty much anything you need. The apartment was clean and private, and having things like bikes and beach chairs available was a great bonus.

The accommodation was fine. What the photos don't reveal is that it was just one room (plus a bathroom) with a bed separated by a wall. And what bothered us was that there was only one narrow window, so we had to constantly turn on the light.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is fantastic and our host was amazing, and very easy to communicate with! We would definitely stay here again!!

Just the best time. Biked to breakfast for açaí bowls, excellent private parking at beach, walked 4 miles every day, walked to fishing pier and looked at all the catches of the day, ate at restaurant there. Used sound access to paddle board out to islands and touch many critters, including hermit crabs, horseshoe crab, conch. Clean, fully stocked, excellent communication with host anytime need arise. Even used smart TV to continue the series we were watching at home. Amazing little place.

Loved this very clean, very well-stocked unit. Perfect size for two, and the best to us was the proximity to activities. We biked up for açaí bowls, walked to the pier restaurant for dinner, paddle boarded on the sound, and walked for miles each day on the beach. Love that it has great access to both ocean and sound!! Very responsive/available host. Will be returning!

My husband and I decided to stay at EI a second week after our adult children returned home. We didn't need a huge place to stay and this was just right. The owners were very friendly and above us the entire week but never heard a sound. The unit was clean and just as described. The ability to drive and park down at the beach was wonderful so we didn't have to haul our chairs and my husbands fishing gear by foot. However it is still close enough to easily walk to the beach or pier. It is small but just as described, perfect for 1-2 people. Also we left behind a few important items and the host was so accommodating to send them in the mail. Thank you!
