'Emerald Lake' Studio - SUMMERTIME!

Great location!

Idyllic stay on a beautiful lake surrounded by forest, just a 15-minute drive from Bellingham. A real find, and on sunny days, simply magic. Position on the lake allows for sun on the dock from early morning into the evening.

It was lovely staying here for our anniversary. It’s a cozy lil studio to stay in. We were nice and warm when it started to snow. I’ll absolutely stay here again

The place was awesome! Great views of the lake, it was idyllic! It was fabulous that they had canoes and kayaks available for use with your own private dock. The only downside was the 18 stairs up to the house. My husband needs a knee replacement so it was hard on him.

If you need a place to go and be quiet for a while, this is it. Well-outfitted and a great view of a small lake. Enjoyed my time there.

Fantastic getaway. We spent time kayaking, watching the sunset, and reading all the notes in the Guest Book while sitting at the lake shore. 10/10. Sharon was very accommodating and kind. If you’re on the fence about deciding your next Vrbo, come here and you won’t regret it!

Beautiful area

We enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. I forgot the code to check in and the host responded promptly to help us out. We had one issue during our stay and the host was very gracious and resolved it quickly.

Beautiful lake views, very quiet and peaceful surroundings. The studio was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the fireplace. Worth noting that the steps to reach the studio are somewhat steep and that parking is indeed tight if you have a larger SUV.

We stayed in February so didn’t get out on the lake, but thoroughly enjoyed our view of the lake, and the convenient location to exploring Bellingham. The studio is clean and comfortable, with the bathroom being a very nice feature. I will say that the kitchenette needs organizing and a true set of pots and pans. I would also buy another small couch and remove the chairs that block the fireplace. Otherwise, it’s a great winter get away!

The host was welcoming and communicative.The property is lovely. Big windows that overlook a quiet lake. Groups of waterfowl were fine with frequent raindrops of late January.The studio was squeaky clean, my personal preference.And warm inside when I unlocked the door.

The cabin was perfect for a little Bellingham getaway! Clean and incredibly quiet, lovely view and good location for getting to trails and to town. The host even had a gift basket out for my husbands 40th. It was really dreamy and oh so welcoming. Very soft comfy sheets, pillows, and a great bed.

I've stayed at the Emerald Lake studio a few times and hope to come back for many more. It's clean, cozy, and located in such a beautiful setting. Rosetta is a wonderful host who makes every stay special. Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing place to relax after 5 days on Mt. Baker. The studio was clean and packed with all that was needed for a comforting stay (to include a guitar!) Unfortunately our bodies were not cooperating after 5 days on the mountain so we did not get to kayak out on the water, but everything was available to do so. Very much recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway on the lake.

So peaceful!This was my 2nd stay at this wonderful property. It is so quiet and serene by this little lake, and it's a joy to watch it change throughout the day with various lighting, weather, wildlife, etc. Everything is incredibly comfortable; this time I stayed in more to fully enjoy my time here. I can't wait to return again!

Great place in a beautiful small lake. We took the canoe out and circled the lake a couple times. It’s one of the most quiet places we’ve ever stayed!

Best place I have been comfortable beautiful quite water was perfect I also took the ferry to Lummi for the market so much to enjoy bed and pillows were comfortable very nice there’s a latter to test the waters everything was perfect

We enjoyed staying at Rosetta’s place. It was spacious and had wonderful views. There was close access to the lake and kayaks, which was a win! Will definitely be back.

This is a lovely home in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood on a private lake. It truly is a hidden gem. Staying in the studio was perfect for my husband and I. We arrived to a thoughtful gift basket with a message acknowledging our anniversary - this was so personal and kind. All directions and amenities were simple and as described. We kayaked, walked the neighborhood, and found treasures of local restaurants and bars to visit. We would definitely stay here again.

This rental was one of my favorites! The beautiful and tranquil setting (and view out the window) was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and there are cozy blankets available. The kitchen has everything you need should you decide to cook. An added bonus was the availability of kayaks and canoes to enjoy on the lake. There is also a dock, handy for fishing. We were too busy enjoying hiking along Mt. Baker Hwy, but hopefully there will be a next time since I loved staying here so much!

The studio was really nice and clean and the bed was so comfy. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The upstairs neighbors while we were there were nice and not loud or anything. Fishing on the paddle boat was exactly what we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful lake! The sunny studio was very clean with large windows for lovely views of the lake. We kayaked every day and saw eagles, turtles, huge tadpoles and hummingbirds. Check in and instructions were accurate and easy and everything you need is provided from the kitchen to the outside activities. The whole place has a very peaceful and relaxing vibe! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a lovely weekend! The property is comfortable, clean, and located in a beautiful setting. We didn’t get a chance to paddle but will next time!

What a beautiful view!! We had everything we needed in the kitchenette, and the bed was so comfy and the fireplace was so cozy. In such an outdoorsy location, we were very impressed to only find one spider, thank goodness! We enjoyed the big beautiful bathtub, but didn’t use the jets since they can be quite difficult to clean. Parking can take some maneuvering, but we overall had no issues getting in or out of the property. We would definitely visit again!

Hidden in the trees on a lake..airy decor..we were quite comfortable.

The location of the home is very close to town, and the host gives great recommendations! We were able to enjoy the kayaks, despite the rain, and loved exploring the lake this way. The home had everything we needed!

This property was perfect for our 3-generation family visit to Bellingham. The kids (6 and 9) enjoyed the water activities (fishing! paddle boat! they even jumped in the water!) as well as the Pac Man and toys/games. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the porch. 2 nights felt too short and we'd love to come back!

Gorgeous view! Easy to get to Bellingham or to the freeway to go North. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The fireplace was such a nice treat as was watching the birds on the lake. Such a nice treat!

This was a perfect place for me to stay for a weekend event, I feel lucky to have found this great gem. I woke up early enough to see the sunrise on the lake and it was beautiful! Loved the big tub and the fireplace. I’d love to come back in the summer and enjoy getting in the water.

What a fabulous cozy getaway from the city!! Lovely space with big windows and an amazing lake right outside to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and spent the weekend very happy with the location as it is super close to Bellingham and very accessible from I-5. We will definitely be back!!

I got this place so I could visit my son who lives nearby. When I arrived I was shocked at how beautiful the view was. The photos do not do it justice. It's a cute tiny clean little place with an amazing view. I just wasn't expecting that view.

Beautiful location. Studio was quite large, and decor is very nice. The lake is pretty much a few steps away. Enjoyed my stay at this little slice a heaven.
