    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the apartment was sophisticated, spacious and full of light. High ceilings, lead-light windows and doors, timber floors and views over treetops & rooftops added to the ambiance. It reminded us of places we've stayed in Montréal and Paris.Our bed, flanked by tall, arched windows in the main bedroom, was very comfortable, as was the generous leather couch in the lounge room. A Scandi-style dining setting could generously seat six. Bathrooms were slick, with a black and white theme and dual shower heads (large head plus arm shower). The kitchen had modern appliances, plus a fabulous Falcon stove - a real treat for those who love to cook. The laundry was well-equipped, with a Bosch washing machine and separate dryer. The whole apartment had plenty of storage space, always appreciated by travellers. All communications with Charlotte, from booking to departure, were courteous, helpful and prompt.We would highly recommend this property for one or two couples, bearing in mind that access to the entry on the second floor is via a long external stairway.

    We loved the flat as it was light and airy and very spacious. It was great for spending time with family (who live very close by). Charlotte was swift and helpful in responding to any queries. The location was perfect for us as close to shops, transport and the sea, but quiet and leafy too. Overall a very comfortable and happy stay.

    A gorgeous aesthetic throughout this second floor apartment. High ceilings, lovely fixtures, huge new stove and oven, air conditioning and heating throughout, even heated towel racks in both bathrooms. New and clean. Plenty of cupboard space.Gorgeous natural light flooding in and situated in a leafy quiet street close to StKilda and Elwood village. Highly recommend.

    The place is beautiful but it doesn’t have any outdoor space. Works in progress and ‘danger’ written on one of the doors for you not to open it. Host didn’t check that everything worked in the house before our stay and wasn’t able to fix things during the time we were there. Not big problems though. We enjoyed being there. Nice rooms and pillows and everything needed was in bathroom and kitchen. Amazing location , green and quiet but at the same time near the beach and restaurants.

    Our residence was upstairs which was pleasant but the downstairs yard and surroundings was in a state of utter disrepair and detracted from the overall experience. There was cobwebs and garbage resembling a hoarders haven which also gave off an unpleasant odour. The outdoors was therefore off limits and we were restricted to staying indoors.
