Elegant/5 BR-5 BA Apt/Acropolis View/Ideal & Quiet Location/Host present

We had the best time at Marianne’s Elegant Apartment. The apartment and all that was provided was clean and impeccable. The Main Street below was extremely quant and quiet with only foot traffic. Everything we planned on seeing was easily within walking distance. We will stay here again.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint little area in Athens. It was quiet and clean! We could walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner and a glass of wine. The host Marianne answered questions we had and set up transportation for us. The apartment was so spacious and CLEAN. What a great place!!! I would stay there if I ever get back to Athens!

We were a group of four couples all visiting Athens and looking for an apartment that was close to the Parthenon and the museum. This place was just what we were looking for. A five bedroom, five bathroom so everyone had their own space. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean and updated. It's also equipped with a kitchen and full size refrigerator as well as a small counter for coffee service. There is a washing machine but no dryer but clothes can be hung in the drying room. The street is not busy so noise is not a problem. Coffee shop, couple restaurants are right across the street and plenty are within a very short walk. The access to the building / apartment has wonderful security and the neighborhood feels very safe. The walk to the Acropolis/Parthenon is a short fifteen minutes and twenty minutes to the museum. From the airport, plan on 45 minute to 1 hour but it's all based around the time of day. If arriving early before check in, there is a storage location for luggage right near the apartment. You can drop your bags and do some shopping or have lunch in the meantime.Marianne, the property manager will take good care of you with any questions. She is very responsive and explains clearly about the property and anything that has to do with Athens. She is a great resource to plan your day. This apartment is in a building with other apartments, so if this one is not exactly what you are looking for be sure to ask Marianne about the others available.

The property was even better than described. Beautiful walkable neighborhood. Great dining and drinking options within short walking distance. Small market for all your needs just a few blocks away. Marianne and Ava provided awesome recommendations and made the entire stay a wonderful experience. I would recommend to everyone and our party of 9 couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the stay was. I’ve included a picture of the view from the patio window. The Acropolis at night.

Outstanding! Everything was awesome and our host was wonderful. The location was excellent and the property was well maintained. Overall, exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend!

Me and my daughters stayed here for a few nights and we had the most amazing time! Marianne and her niece Eva were both so kind and accommodating. They made the trip that much more special and wonderful. The transportation they arranged was very professional, timely and extremely helpful. The location is absolutely perfect, with a grocery market close by and a small walk to the Acropolis area. Also there is an amazing Crete restaurant, Kotsakia run by the owner Demetrius, and their food is the best in all of Greece. If you ever have a chance to stay in Athens it should be at this location, Thank you Marianne and Eva!

What a wonderful and amazing place to stay in Athens! The communication with our host and staff, especially Eva, was superb. They were so very helpful with transportation to and from the property, as well as many great local recommendations. The property was well suited to our group of ten, and the neighborhood was charming with just the right mix of bars, restaurants, stores and bakeries. The neighborhood was quiet but still had plenty of amenities, and the proximity to the Acropolis (along with the view!) was just what we were looking for. I highly recommend this property without reservation.

Marianne was a great host. She helped us with our transportation and was responsive to all of our needs. Communication was clear and location was excellent.

Check in was excellent and the apartment very comfortable and in a great location. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Highly recommend!

We had a group of 7 that included 4 adults and 3 teenagers. Each teenager had their own room and bathroom which was nice for them to have their own area. We had an excellent visit in our vrbo. The area is delightful and the manager, Marianne, was awesome from the beginning. She was very communicative and responsive to all our questions. She helped with car service to and from the rental. She was amazing. There was plenty of shopping and nice restaurants very close by. The rental was very clean and in a safe neighborhood. We arrived early and were able to stow our luggage in a storage locker that was locked and secure. We were able to walk a short distance to a restaurant that had a great view of the Acropolis but the view from the rental was not as expected most likely from tree growth. Overall we were happy with our visit and recommend the stay indeed.

Marianne and Eva are so very amazing! Communication was excellent, apartment was gorgeous! We met our new Greek family at a restaurant down the street. Kona was so amazing and we will definitely return! Thank you for making our 3 days before the cruise unforgettable! Hugs!!

The AURA apartments, Marianne, and her wonderful team made our stay in Athens incredibly fun and comfortable. The space was ideal for our 3 couple crew – bright, roomy, comfortable beds – a fantastic environment to hang after a day of exploring this marvelous city. The A/C was appreciated…we all had our own spacious rooms with their own bathrooms…and the funky Thission neighborhood put us close to everything. The real secret-sauce was our FANTASTIC host, who helped us every step of the way. From airport transfers to gracious check -in, from helping us with a lost bag to providing secure luggage storage whilst we were on week-long cruise – the folks at AURA went above and beyond – easily the finest hosting we’ve experienced in our VRBO travels. If you have a large group – this is the place for you, plus AURA has spaces for smaller parties. I enthusiastically recommend this rental!

Great location, spacious, with more than enough bathrooms! There were seven in our group, we were greeted on arrival. Our hosts also helped with arranging airport transfers, a wonderful guide for visiting the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. Close restaurants well within walking distance. Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Athens!We had an amazing experience at this apartment in Athens! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to all the major sights, shops, and restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing.The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we especially appreciated the attention to detail in both cleanliness and decor. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Athens—we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here after our cruise and loved it. Marianne and Eva warmly greeted us and made transportation arrangements for all 11 of us from the port and to the airport. The neighborhood is quieter but is very close to everything. The apartment is nice and clean and accommodated our group perfectly.

the Location of our VRBO Stay was perfect, a quite, Tree lined mostly pedestrian street with great restaurants withing walking distance, We were able to walk back to the VRBO from the Acropolis. At the end of the Block is a Roof top Restaurant with an awesome view of the Pantheon. Marianne was always available and super nice. She helped us with transfers which was a blessing. 5 Stars all the way

Wonderful accomodations, great location, Marianne and Eva arranged for transportation, groceries in advance, and tour guides. Our stay was memorable.

First of all, Marianne and her associate were wonderful in helping everything we needed during the stay. Marianne was easily accessible and kind. She made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was comfortable, inviting and clean; it had everything listed on the web site. The location was fantastic. There were many wonderful cafe, bakeries and restaurants in walking distance. We, three generations from 80 y/o to 17 y/o, thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Efcharisto!!

We were blown away by the accommodations, the attention to detail and concierge like assistance from everything to booking airport transfers, storing luggage, and restaurant recommendations. Marianne and her team are the best. We will be back!
