Stayed Oct 10, 2024This house is in the perfect location for day trips on the midcoast region of Maine, and Rockland itself is wonderful. It was very spacious which was nice.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024Once I learned that Bay View Square was the name of a street and not a Square the directions made sense. But it caused some delay in arrival. The apartment (more like a house) was great, quirky because it's historic, not modern, but all the better for it. Plenty of room for the two of us. Within walking distance of town, but not for the unfit. So close by to many other towns - easy to travel back and forth. The Farnsworth Museum and Bixby Chocolate Company in Rockland were highlights. Our host,George, was quiet as a mouse but ever so helpful.

Stayed Sep 29, 2024We loved our stay in this cozy historic house! Conveniently located, beautiful and clean, and lots of space. Felt like home. This is our 3rd time visiting Maine, and this house is our favorite that we've stayed at. Highly recommend!

Stayed Aug 19, 2024Overall decent and clean place to stay. Kitchen is fully stocked. George was very nice and quick to respond. A few suggestions would be to fix grill, clean up outside area, maybe replace futon with a couch in living room. (futon not comfortable) and maybe a queen size bed in bedroom. Thank you George for your assistance

Stayed Aug 3, 2024The location, with the bay a block away and downtown five minutes, and highway One 15 seconds from the front driveway, was ideal. Convenient to several food stores and restaurants it was still quiet and felt secluded the 12 days we were there. It gave us an interesting, historic venue in which to relax when we wanted but put us near enough for any action we wanted; the host was literally available 24/7, living 10 steps from our own private entry. We would love to come back.

Stayed Jun 18, 2024Full of period furnishings and dinnerware. Perfect location for mid Maine coast. Get your lobster at Jesses market or better yet at Beths farmer's market. Not fancy or modern just comfortable!

Stayed Jun 17, 2024We really enjoyed our stay in this historic home. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. We used the kitchen for several meals. The location is great and an easy drive or walk into town.

Stayed Jun 2, 2024We really enjoyed our stay - exactly as pictured, very clean, and close to the outdoor activities we wanted to do in Rockland and Camden. The apartment has lots of decorations which give it character (might be a little worrisome about breaking something with a very small kid.) The only thing that wasn't great was the shower in the main bathroom, which was snug, but the second bath's shower/tub combo had plenty of space. Communication with the hosts was smooth and they gave us lots of tips for local restaurants, etc.
