The Space:
Constructed in 1891 and believed to be one of the four remaining residential structures designed by the renowned architect Alfred S. Eichberg this unit is truly a piece of Savannah history. Originally born in New York, Eichberg moved to Georgia and was commissioned on notable structures including the Telfair Hospital, New Hanover County Courthouse (NC), and Eichberg Hall of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Known for his Romanesque revival style of design, you’ll find incredible detail and architectural aspects throughout the Eichberg Manor.
Located on the lower level of the entire residential home the manor boasts vaulted ceilings, original hardwood floors, and an open concept that makes the residence feel spacious and refreshing.
In the living room relax and unwind on an oversized sectional while you stream your favorite shows on the brand-new TV. Step right from the living space into a fully custom kitchen featuring brand new appliances, granite countertops, and small appliances like a coffee maker and toaster. The kitchen is fully appointed with all the pots, pans, chef knife set, and cooking utensils you need to cook full course meals during your stay. With a dining table set for 6 just off the kitchen, this is the perfect place to gather at the end of the day.
The manor features two ensuites with their own bathrooms and a third bedroom with the third full bathroom adjacent. All bedrooms feature brand new everything including beds, TVs, and bedroom furniture. In the main suite find gorgeous bay windows centered on a brand-new king mattress with fresh linens and posh pillows. In the second and third bedrooms enjoy queen mattresses, new linens, and antique touches that bring out the historical feel of the home. Vaulted ceilings with oversized windows pour in natural light that makes every bedroom feel open and airy.
With three and half bathrooms the home provides all the space you need to spread out while preparing for a day on the town. All bathrooms have been completely updated with new vanities, fixtures, and custom tile work. Enjoy a step-in shower in one bathroom and a shower/tub combination in the second bathroom. The powder room is located in the front hall. All bathrooms are outfitted with the essentials including towels, body wash, and shampoo.

Guest Access:
There is free parking in the rear driveway area (grass). The entire home is for your use. You have access to the side balcony (private) and the shared front porch. To reiterate, you have one king bed and 2 queens. Each bedroom has a Smart TV.

The Neighborhood:
Perfectly located in the Victorian District East, you will be in the heart of historic Savannah and centrally located to all the incredible eats, drinks, and sights Savannah has to offer. From your door step the southern portion of Forsyth Park is just 2-minute walk. On your way grab a delicious cup of coffee at the Sentient Bean or Alexander’s Bistro featuring fair trade coffee and lattes. Need a breakfast bite to start your day Pick up some great American style breakfast with a retro feel at Betty Bombers Diner.
Looking for a sandwich and a pint Stroll on down to the Black Rabbit, a small, yet incredible sandwich shop by day, pub by night. Need a taco fix Try out Bull Street Tacos for scratch made Mexican dishes.
Looking for fine dining and a great vibe Head on over Local 11 Ten and their chic rooftop bar and lounge known as The Perch. Enjoy handcrafted cocktails, and delicious dishes. The Perch is open year around and features gas heaters for cooler winter days.

Take an adventure outside of just the neighborhood by visiting one of Savannah’s many museums. Mercer-William’s House Museum, Savannah African Art Museum, American Prohibition Museum, and many more are just minutes away. Tap into the artistic nature of Savannah by stopping into Savannah’s College of Art and Design Museum of Art. Want to get more hands on and make some memories Try blowing glass at Hostess City Hot Glass, a perfect time for the whole family.
Not enough time to walk all the sights of Savannah Take it all in at once while riding or biking. We are just minutes away from Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah and Savannah Bike Tours. Check out the city’s skyline from the water by jumping on one of the Savannah Belle’s ferries, with multiple stops all along Savannah’s river front.
Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and uber service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the Abercorn and Park SB stop just a 2-minute walk from the manor.

Getting Around:
There is a free trolley ride that picks up at the top of Forsyth Park (just walk down Park Ave. two blocks and in front of the shops is the stop). There is also a FREE City uber called The Downtowner - download the app and use it like you would any ride share app, but it's free. Otherwise, an Uber will run you about $5 to get to River/Bay St.

The house is as great as advertised in a wonderful location. My friends and I really enjoyed the setup. We especially appreciated the comfortable living room which we used a lot between daytime adventures and evenings out. Chase was also super responsive to all my questions.

Really great property. Super clean and updated. Extremely comfortable beds. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. 4 of us (ladies all over 70) easily walked to the historic area. We took Ubers to and from the house at night. I would highly recommend this lovely home and would definitely stay here again should I visit Savannah.

This is a spacious place to stay in the heart of the eastern historic district. It was about 2 or 3 blocks from Forsyth Park and easily walkable. The house was clean and there were a lot of little touches that made it feel like you were home. The only thing worth mentioning is if you are traveling with an elderly person, there are no grab bars or safety holds in the showers. It makes it a bit precarious if you're unsteady. It doesn't affect my rating because the house was totally worth it.

Everything about this home was perfect. There were many small thoughtful details (everything needed for coffee, shower products available, plenty of toilet paper). The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need.

This property was perfect for me and two friends. It was spacious, located in a safe, quiet area, and made for a comfortable stay. Although street parking was a bit challenging to find in the evening, I’d definitely stay here again!

Very convenient location, short walk from Forsyth Park or short drive to downtown/riverfront areas. A lot of old charm in the house and neighborhood. We visited toward the end of summer when the weather in Savannah was humid and rainy, so we did notice a bit of dampness/musty smell, but this might be expected in an old historic house. Otherwise it is beautifully restored, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a great central living space to hang out.

The location was great, very close to most everything in downtown Savannah. The house was amazing and the management was helpful and responsive. We had a great stay and at the end of an action packed day coming 'home' was very relaxing and calming.

The property is lovely and well maintained. We especially appreciated the coffee! It is close (walking) to Forsyth Park We Ubered to other parts of the city and the rides showed up in less than 5 minutes every time. It is well appointed and had sufficient flatware/dishware for the five of us. Street partking was easy enough. Only issue we had was one night there was a lot of yelling/screaming from the street late in the evening which was disturbing and disruptive to sleep.
