Eclectic, Stylish, and Cozy Milwaukee Unit!

There are restaurants and bars within walking distance. It was nice to be able to park our truck inside the garage and not have to worry about street parking.

When we arrived, the property had not been cleaned! Beds, bathrooms, garbage, floors were all undone! Had to leave the property for 2 1/2 hours so that someone could come in and clean. Very inconvenient considering all family members were arriving and had planned to cook dinner for everyone that evening. Property has many things broken and poor condition. Basement area had not been cleaned even after second attempt. Carpet in basement is very dirty.

Pros: *The location was great. It was easy to get downtown and easy to walk to places nearby. There were plenty of interesting restaurants and stores within walking distance. *The house had plenty of room for our group of 11.*We appreciated the bedrooms were all in the back of the house as to avoid the noises from the street.Cons: *There was a STRONG smell of smoke and marijuana when we entered the house. It was clear the previous guests were smoking in the basement. Maintenance sprayed the basement which helped a little but even after that, the smell lingered and so we weren't able to spend much time in the basement.*There were too many things to mention that were either damaged, not functioning, stained or dirty. This included the furniture, the walls, doors, the closets, hardware and the flooring. *The kitchen was modestly stocked. We were glad we brough supplemental items. *The driveway is VERY Steep. Any small cars would likely bottom out getting into the garage and it didn't seem safe to park in the driveway. We were also glad we brought our own shovel and salt - otherwise we would not have been able to get out after the snow fall. Overall our stay was underwhelming. We could definitely see this house being great for bachelor/bachelorette parties or weekend trips for young people wanting to go out to the bars/events downtown. But for our family with young children and grandparents we were hoping for something different.

Overall, this property was great. Many large comfortable beds. We enjoyed the large TV and sitting area in the basement to watch a movie each night. Nice location within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and breweries, but the noise from the main street was very loud late at night. The garbage disposal did not work and the owner had no tips on how to get it working. The dishwasher also had standing water in it, so hopefully that was OK when we ran it before we left there is a huge double shower, which is kind of odd with this sort of property. It’s impossible for one person to use both shower-heads simultaneously and this is not the type of property where a romantic couple is typically going to stay and use such a shower. The stairs to the basement were pretty dirty and could use a thorough vacuuming. Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay and I would stay again.

Great home and very clean!

Overall great experience. House was very spacious and beautiful. Everything in house was very clean and had everything we needed. The location of the house is also perfect. It is located in a safe area within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Almost all attractions in Milwaukee are close by. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again

This property is fabulous. First of all, it is HUGE. So much space and plenty of beds and bedrooms for a large group. Secondly, my group and I loved the location just off of Brady Street. We were also within walking distance of McKinley Beach which was fantastic. The hosts communicated quickly and were attentive to our needs. A great option for a Milwaukee getaway!

Property was very large and well suited to fit our 8 person party. Check in was easy, unit was well cleaned and in a good location for night life. One area of improvement would be to include more basic household items: hand towels in bathrooms, oil for cooking, basic seasonings, etc.Overall, the stay was great and I would recommend it to others.

Our stay was what we hoped for! We were able to check in easily and the VRBO was in a great location for local nightlife and a community bar feel. Brady St is definitely a fun go-to!

Lots of space (lots) and close to all of the bars, restaurants, culture that you need.

Space was great but not cleaned in some areas. Dirty floors, urine around toilet, counter dirty and trash can not emptied. We suggest new cleaners. We had to take an uber to purchase cleaning supplies.

The house was not only better than advertised, but it was perfectly located in a fun neighborhood. We could walk anywhere in minutes. The manager was friendly and quick to respond. My friends and I had a great weekend here. I highly recommend staying here and I would do so again myself should I visit Milwaukee again.

Great location and has a lot of beds. Very convenient to walk to bakery, coffe shops, and CVS. Highly recommend!

Property was as advertised. Being close to restaurants and entertainment was perfect. Jack’s had a shuttle to the Brewers games which made getting to the ball park extra easy.

Our group was visiting Milwaukee for a weekend bachelor party. We had 10 guys staying at this location. To say it was a perfect stay in all aspects would be an understatement. The location in relation to local bars, restaurants, and breweries was perfect. The house itself had plenty of room and then some for our group, and the layout was perfect. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend any groups traveling to the area to stay here!

We were visiting my brother and needed a place for a family of six to stay. There was MORE than enough room for everyone. The kids escaped to the basement entertainment area most of our down time. Great spot near many restaurants.

Easy access to Bucks or Brewer's!

My family and I stayed here for a few days and it was exactly as advertised. Nice place in a good location to walk to restaurants.

Overall our stay was very nice. I would definitely stay again. The place was what they showed online and no surprises. A few notes:- the front door handle was very jiggly like it was falling off and made me feel a little uneasy- the place had not been power cleaned in a while. There was an inch of dust on top of the light fixtures and overhead oven vent- I was thinking there would be games or movies in the media rooms but there were not. There was not a DVD player- No dish rags or towels- The house had a funky smell to it, like someone had smoked or vaped in it-I never received the address or check in instructions an hour beforehand. I had to message The Host 40 minutes before we arrived because we were on our way.Other than those few things it was a nice stay for a large group. There was a really cute specialty grocery store around the corner that we walked to.

This VRBO was excellent! We loved everything about it! There was plenty of space to sleep, lounge, and eat! We had a great time. The area was safe and walkable, we walked to dinner and drinks both nights we stayed. We will definitely be back!

We visited with friends of ours. There were 4 adults and 8 kids. The property was spacious and perfect for the kids to have fun. The basement was a great area for them to play games and have fun. Location was fantastic. Easily accessible to many locations in the city. We enjoyed our time! Owner was super responsive and timely.

Great location - walkable to bars and restaurants and a short Uber ride to the Fiserv. The off-street parking is convenient. Overall, very nice.

The property is very spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. Good for gathering with others or finding a place for some quiet time. Location was perfect with local businesses and close to other sites. Dan is extremely timely with responses.

We had such an incredible time! Close to everything needed in Milwaukee! Baseball game, boat rides, brady street, etc.... all a stones throw from this property!

Short stay for a work visit. Great place in a nice location. Having a garage available was perfect. Dan was great throughout the entire process, very easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay here again when we’re in Milwaukee.

When you look at the property on the outside it doesn’t look like it would be that big but this house had ALOT of space and would be great for get togethers/parties. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for families with really little kids but would definitely recommend for families with older kids, friend gatherings etc.

This house was perfect for two families as a get together. There were plenty of beds that were comfortable and clean. The garage was very nice to have and it was secure. The kids enjoyed the arcade games. The owners were easy to communicate with and the neighborhood was safe and close to numerous restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend this place.
