Duck Haven - Wildlife Sanctuary - 5 miles to I75

This place is the whole reason I brought my kids to Florida for Christmas.. Dona is an amazing host, accomodations were perfect. All of the animals are well taken care of, Pixie the deer seems to be one of everyone's favorites.. One Eyed Jack is a sweetheart of a cat, just like the rest of the beautiful rehabilitated animals that get to live here with Dona & family.. I came for a spiritual reboot & got that and so much more. Thank you so much Dona!! I'll be back as soon as I can!

Everything was perfect. Room was clean. The bed and pillows super comfortable. I fell in love with DeeDee the kitty.

This place is really special for so many reasons. The accommodations are impeccable, everything has been thought of by the amazing host and her mom. I didn't want to leave! It's like living out my fantasy of staying on a farm with so many beautiful animals. It's a peaceful sanctuary for people too!

We had such a lovely experience staying here! My daughter chose this place because she wanted to be around animals, and it did not disappoint! We all enjoyed being so close to nature and getting the chance to interact with the animals—it was truly a unique and peaceful getaway. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with a special connection to wildlife, this is the perfect spot.

We didn't get there until a little later then planned but everything went smoothly anyhow, the owners were very pleasant and accommodating! We got the best tour the next morning! I highly recommend! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Duck Haven and all the units at the sanctuary looked clean and nice. We very much enjoyed our stay and Dona is extremely friendly. We will definitely stay again anytime we are in the area.

If you love animals - domestic, farm, and exotic - you're going to love this VRBO. Dona is a 5-star host, and the accommodations were perfect. My wife and I loved waking up on the farm and seeing all of the adorable furry friends, then exploring nearby Dade City and the surrounding area. We were able to enjoy a private tour of the sanctuary, which blew our minds! We will absolutely return for a future visit. Thank you for everything, Dona!!

Stayed overnight New Year's Eve so we wouldn't have to drive back to Tampa after the Lantern Festival. Dona was so nice and a tour of the sanctuary was included. Pixie the deer is so sweet!

My Fiancé and stayed here for a night while we were in the area and loved it. Dona was a great host and showed us all of her animals. We were very impressed and loved the experience. Would love to come back if we ever get the chance!

Duck Haven was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. We were able to explore during the day and have a nice and cozy apartment to come back to at night. I loved being able to look out our window and see the sheep, and looking at the horses as we pulled up the driveway. Dona was a very accommodating host, and her tour of the sanctuary on the property was so interesting and fun!
