Drake House: City View (Private Hot Tub)

Great stay. Very relaxing place.

This was our second stay in the Drake House: City View and we wouldn't hesitate to here stay again. The apartment is comfortable and conveniently located. There are stairs to negotiate with your luggage, but there's a nice deck with a view of the Millwork District at the back of the property. There were plenty of towels in the bathrooms. We didn't use the washer/dryer.

The property was close to several of the activities we were doing. It’s a nice, clean property. Parking took a little time to find due to the one way streets and where it is. It is across the street and in the previous block by a car lot but it does have signage. Owner communicates well. We would definitely stay again (but maybe pack a bit lighter due to the steps ).

Our family stayed here during my son's baseball tournament at Field of Dreams. It met our needs and Jenn was responsive to any messages we sent.

Grew up in Iowa and left in 1985 for the military. This might have be the longest trip back since then. We flew into Cedar Rapids for our niece’s wedding. Then traveled to Dubuque with our son and grandson. We took in a horseback trail ride in Galena, walked through Maquoketa Caves State Park, took in the National Mississippi River Museum, and ventured out to the Field of Dreams movie site. We also took our Grandson to the Live Social all ages game room at the Q Casino. Afterwards the casino was nice to my wife and I. All of this was within 30 minutes of this property. It was clean; we used to clean beach front rentals for extra income 25 years ago, so we know a clean property when we see one. The hot tub was not available due to a cracked shell, but the owner provided fair compensation for this inconvenience. Highly recommend this property if visiting the area. We did stay at the casino a little too late one evening and Uber was not available, but there is a local cab company that provided quick and affordable transportation back to the property.

Clean, great location, great communication!

This space is adorable, has everything we needed. Hot tub was amazing! Host communicated with us and was very responsive to any questions. We have stayed at drake house twice now and will be back!

Loved our stay there. Perfect location to get to the Millwork District. Also, Charlottes Coffee House is fabulous, and staying above it is great to go downstairs to get coffee, food and snacks.

You won’t be disappointed in this place. The hot tub was great, location was perfect and the place was very comfortable!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this property. Very clean and cute! We came to relax and loved the private hot tub and coffee shop right in the building. We were able to easily walk to shops, restaurants and museums and never even moved the car from the parking lot once we arrived.

The property was very clean and welcoming. The property manager's communication was great! I had questions about the parking and she responded right away. Will definitely stay again.

This was just what we were looking for. The condo was a great relaxation spot and the Millwork district has plenty to do for a couple days.

Cute 2-bedroom accommodation near restaurants and downtown Dubuque. Nice coffeehouse downstairs-no noise from the business and good coffee. White Street is busy, but traffic wasn’t a bother with windows closed. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this property. Clean, nicely decorated, convenient parking, private 2nd floor deck with a hot tub!! Delicious meals at both Charlotte’s Coffee House and nearby 7Hills Brewing! Everything was awesome!

The property is very clean and cute. Hosts are friendly and helpful and have thought of everything. Must try the cutest coffee shop on the ground floor of the building and the hot tub is a must!

Extremely comfortable condo in an excellent location for walking. We enjoyed our stay and wasn’t ready to go! Highly recommend and will stay again if in the area.

This is our 2nd time staying at one of the Drake House units. We love the location, ease of parking, cleanliness and of course the balcony/hot tub! And the first floor coffee shop is an extra bonus!
