Stayed Apr 25, 2025This was the perfect location for easy access to the festival and Park Circle. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The decor was fabulous and inviting! My daughter loved the record player. Highly recommend!

Stayed Oct 10, 2024My mother and I came for a music festival. We were able to walk to several restaurants and stores in the area. The location was prefect! The decor of this VRBO is just wonderful! If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be booking again and recommending friends and family.

Stayed Sep 18, 2024We had an amazing stay at The Contemporary! Price Hill is a cute area with a lot of bars/restaurants that are fun to check out, but is still within 15 minutes to the more popular tourist aspects of Charleston. Check-in was a breeze, no matter what time of arrival (we had a late flight in), and the hosts were easy to communicate with throughout the stay. The place was very spacious. There was some noise at night from music from a bar across the street, but there is an Alexa in the room and the music is easily covered with white noise sounds from that if needed.

Stayed Mar 24, 2024Love this condo! Super clean & pics represented the place perfectly. The bed & pillows were very nice & comfy. Stairs are outside, but well lit at night. Kitchen was well stocked & seemed brand new. Neighborhood was great - nice to be able to walk to places. Recommend Fratello’s for Italian (best Salmon) & Azul for Mexican. Also enjoyed Orange Spot for coffee and especially EVO Bakery for pastries/coffee. The Black Octopus is a great retail shop owned by a local artist. And the Creamery didn’t disappoint for ice cream. We had pretty good luck with parking even though none is assigned, it’s free. Note that there is a bar across the street which is outside the bedroom window. They do quiet down around 11pm during week, but weekend (starting Thurs) it didn’t stop music until after midnight. Overall, highly recommend this unit & would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 30, 2023I felt like we were the first people who ever stayed there because it was so clean. Never saw one of those lovely palmetto bugs (large cockroaches) that Charleston is famous for, which is almost unheard of for the area. That is really saying something. The decorating was perfection, didn't want to leave. It had a New York loft feel and was a great experience for us. It was a plus that we could bring our little dog.
